Rued Langgaard - Antikrist
Genre: Opera/Modern Classical
Year: 2006 (Composed during the 1920's, recorded in 2002)
I'm not much of an opera fan, but this really stands out from the pack by putting the singers in the shoes of Lucifer, God, The Great Whore, and so forth as they detail the end of the world.
Langgaard grew up in an overbearingly religious home, his parents both musicians as well, which demonized modern music. Langgaard grew obsessed with artists like Strauss and Puccini, adapting their sounds as a way of expressing what he felt was evil and immoral.
Recommended If You Like: Richard Wagner, Franz Liszt, Richard Strauss, Arnold Schoenberg, Gustav Mahler, and Anton Bruckner.
Sample via Dacapo Records.

Jäh Division - Dub Will Tear Us Apart
Genre: Dub
Year: 2004
Simply put, a short 4 song deep dub tribute to Joy Division. If you enjoy the band and dub then you will almost certainly enjoy this.
Beware, a Russian reggae band goes by Jah Division. Note the difference in name.
Recommended If You Like: Ian Curtis's face etched into a bong.

Dub versions of Joy Division songs? Color me intrigued. Is it like Radiodread?
Jah Division - is there any connection between them and the Easy Star All Stars? (Glorious perpetrators of Dub Side of the Moon and Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band, dub renditions of the albums alluded to in the titles: I can't speak to Radiodread (their rendition of OK Computer) 'cause I haven't heard it yet.)

I've actually heard Dub Will Tear Us Apart before (via your RYM page, haha.) I'm not at all an opera fan, but if it gets Stasis approval...
Don't worry, I have no plans of posting any more opera, unless I'm still doing this thread years from now and have introduced a few of my favorite prank phone-call albums prior.
