Also, I will eventually restore the first post but it's not letting me do it. When I can get around to it I'm going to start post all the older ones as individual blog posts so that one mark doesn't destroy 40 other albums linked.

Like with Alexandria, I cannot even begin to fathom why A Walk on the Wired Side by The Flaming Stars wasn't a major hit, at the very least among the underground community.

At The Close Of Every Day - Zalig Zijn De Armen Van Geest
    Genre: Slowcore
    Year: 2002

These Holland natives play a post-rock and folk-inspired style of slowcore that do a good job of keeping a grey and downcast mood without ever getting dull or too inaccessible.

Recommended If You Like: Sparklehorse, Red House Painters, Arab Strap, Early Day Miners, Barzin, and Spain.

Click here for short samples of each song via Insound.

Andy Dixon spent half a year recording himself, friends, and strangers at various recreational locations, as indicated by the track names.
He then took these samples and created an extremely playful and surprisingly immersive album that does a good job at separating IDM from it's stereotypically cold, clinical atmosphere.

Recommended If You Like: Matmos, The Books, Mouse On Mars, Blectum From Blechdom, Matthew Herbert, and DAT Politics.

    Sample the album on myspace.
Oh wow, I really like that.
It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.
