Really? It hooked me from the start, although I do like Deadwood more.

After forcing myself through three episodes of Rome, I gave up. It just doesn't interest me. So I've moved on to another show I've been meaning to get around to for a long time: Dexter. I was hooked from the very beginning and I'm almost done with the first season. I'm thinking about ignoring Netflix after season one and just blind-buying the seasons on blu-ray.

    Stone In Love - Journey
Rose of the Devil's Garden - Tiger Army
    Don't Change - INXS
    Highway Song - Blackfoot
Tonight She Comes - The Cars

Give Rome more of a chance, i found it pretty corny at the start there but then really got into it later. That said, I'd prolly recommend Dexter over Rome, though I have my issues with Dexter too, mostly the really emo and poorly written voice over stuff Dexter is always saying. I think it's only really bad in the first season, maybe the second.

im watching weeds season two right now. a show about a suburban lady dealing pot to her neighbors after the untimely passing of her husband is keeping me entertained.

I have Weeds on my instant watch queue, but I'm not sure I'll ever get around to actually watching it. If Buffy fails to hook me enough to watch past the first season, then I likely will.

I second giving Rome another chance.

As far as Dexter goes, I loved the first two seasons, thought the third was mediocre and the fourth was decent. Hoping the fifth gets back to the quality of the first two. The voiceovers never bothered me.

pillars of the earth. watched a few episodes, and thought it was meh.

then i had to watch something entertaining, AKA entourage.

had also finished the third season of boondocks last night. was very entertaining, but i liked the second season just a tad more.

Started watching Sports Night today. It's pretty kickass. Kinda like Scrubs I guess, just less wacky and in a TV studio instead of an office.

Once I'm done with sports night I'm gonna move onto....
    Twin Peaks (finally)
Generation Kill (I guess technically it mighta been a mini series?)
    Studio 60 on Sunset Strip

And hopefully also watch season 2 of Sons of Anarchy and finish off season 1 of rescue me.
