Finished season 1 of Sports Night. Awesome show from the late 90's. Really cool stuff.

Season 2 of Sons of Anarchy done, I burned through all that today basically in one big sitting, haven't done that in a loooong time. Quality TV there, people.

Also got through all of Rescue Me. It wasn't bad but I'm not sure yet if I'll continue with it or not. I just find it annoying to watch a bunch of jerk dudes do macho bull**** and pay each other out for 35 minutes each episode, then have 5 minutes where they act all emotional and it's somehow meant to cancel out the fact they're a total douche.

I really want to get into Sons of Anarchy, it looks really cool. Plus it was created by Kurt Sutter, who was a writer/producer (and actor) on one of my recent favorites, The Shield.

toronto maples leafs game in an hour, games from different seasons over the past 5 years. even tho i know they didnt make the playoffs and the games already happened, its still fun to cheer. colton orr tangled with carkner last night and knocked him on his ass. it was excellent.

Yeah, I've been thinking about giving The Shild another shot. I'd really only ever seen bits of it on TV now and then but it seemed like another generic cop show (law and orders, bones, csi's, ncis etc) and the only show like that I've been able to stand is Castle because it doesnt try to be too serious.

The Shield is NOTHING like those other procedurals. First of all, it's not a procedural - it's more like an action/drama. I'd definitely recommend giving it another shot. It starts off a bit slow but the way everything goes throughout the course of the series, it's almost Shakespearean.

I've been watching a few episodes of House every night patiently awaiting getting season 6 on DVD and season 7 to come out on TV. Waiting to get my Full HD TV to watch Dexter on Blu-Ray, I've already seen it but I love that show. I saw a few posts up about Sons of Anarchy, that show looks awesome, I'm waiting for it to come down in price to buy it on DVD. Also True Blood episodes each sunday
