The new episode of Fringe has a hilarious Twin Peaks reference. Best show on TV. Seriously.

I just found out Roger Ebert Presents: At the Movies debuted last night on PBS. Gotta give that one a look.

Just won't be the same without Siskel. Man, I miss that duo!

Anyways, I started my 1st-11th season run of Frasier a couple of nights ago, finished Season 1, Disc 1 last night. Will probably get a lot more in this weekend.
That's Anette Olzon, not Amy Lee in my avatar

Ebert will appear on the show from his office, using his computerized voice box to speak. The two main critics will be Christy Lemire and Ignatiy Vishnevetsky (who?). I agree with whofan, it just hasn't been the same since Siskel died.

The worst thing is the At the Movies website is gone since the show got cancelled, and all those great archived shows from the old days aren't available to watch. It be great if Ebert could work something out with Disney to bring those over to the site for the new show.

I've usually been able to find old Siskel & Ebert reviews on Youtube, but yeah, that sucks that the At the Movies site is gone. I really miss the old S&E shows. I think I still have some of their reviews on videotape.

I've heard early bits of Ebert's computerized voice and it sounded pretty decent, so I'm anxious to hear how it sounds now. It bummed me out when they released the director's cut of Dark City, because they intercut Ebert's original commentary (one of the best I've ever heard, IMO) with a newer commentary. He still had his voice then, but I think it was after his stroke and his voice had changed quite a bit.

Polished off the 10th season of Married With Children a while back (got the DVD set for Christmas), slowly working through the 11th and final season now.
