I've been getting into The Young Ones lately. I was a sitcom on BBC back in the 80's, and one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. It's more like a sitcom meets a variety show, but it's still great.

...Also, obligatory mention of Futurama's "Jurassic Bark", which remains the saddest TV episode ever made. I'm Tearing up just thinking about the end, lol.

Definitely. "The Sting" also ranks up there for sad Futurama. I'm just starting watching the two new seasons on Netflix since I never got the DVDs.

Don't know if you already have, but you might want to check out Bottom as well, a sitcom with a similar kind of humor starring Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson (AKA Rick and Vyvyan).

That show is pretty much why I started watching TYO. I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like TYO's humor a lot more than Bottom, but Bottom and The Young ones are my favorite shows right now, lol. My favorite Bottom episode would have to be the Camping one though. Nothing but pure hilarious and vulgar slapstick for 24 minutes.

Oh, I prefer TYO over Bottom as well, but usually people who like one also like the other, that's why I mentioned it.

As for my own TV watching, I'm currently getting my wife caught up on Community before season 3 continues next month. We're up to the season 2 finale by now. I have to say that I'm personally enjoying the show as much if not more than the first time I watched it. Lots of little jokes in there that I didn't pick up on the first time. I think it's currently tied with Blackadder as my favorite comedy series of all time. It's that good.
