Community was great tonight. The live episode of 30 Rock was great tonight. I'm happy.
So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, good night.
So I've missed the last two episodes of Game of Thrones, due to a busy schedule. First two episodes weren't bad, I really need to catch up.
When do they show reruns on HBO? I may just watch them on HBO GO, though I seem to get around to them faster if there's a designated time.
Heard that they're going to be deviating from the books as time goes on. I'm not particularly thrilled with that idea, nor am I thrilled with the idea that they are essentially two different universes; apparently, a character killed in the show is still alive in the later books. I'd prefer them to occupy the same universe, though we'll see if Martin does something interesting with his "butterfly effect".
Blow yer' harmonica son
Community was fantastic tonight. I feel like I say that every week, but dammit if it isn't true. This episode goes right in my top ten favorites, easily.
EDIT: Parks and Rec was just as good, holy crap.

YAY BUDDY GARRITY! (If you don't get that, you don't watch either Parks and Rec or Friday Night Lights and are worse off for it.)
NOOOOOOOOOOOO STAR-BURNS!

Fringe has been renewed for a fifth and final season consisting of 13 episodes. There is no news more important than this today.
And only 13 shows? Awesome. That's what the final season of Lost should've had.
Finished catching up on Ponies, watched the Korra leak, saw there was no HIMYM this week.
Witticus: "GeeNef speaks to me like schizophrenia, his words touch me where my priest could reach."
The Cape. It wasn't as bad as I had read about, but it wasn't all that good, either. Keith David was pretty much the bright spot of the show. Actually, the whole Carnival of Crime was a lot more interesting to me than The Cape himself. His character was always so damn serious that it wasn't any fun to watch. And I'd really like to see Summer Glau in a role that isn't "super smart but psychologically flawed girl". I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars.
Caprica. Finally watched the last half of the series. As a fan of Battlestar Galactica, I enjoyed it, but not as much as I was hoping to. I was hoping that it would have explored the beginnings of the Cylons more than it did, and not been so much about the monotheistic religious group, which, while important, did not deserve as much overall screen time as it got. About midway through the series, the Cylon aspect of the show became almost an afterthought, with one of the few bright spots coming when the Cylon said "By your command" to Sam in the same voice from the original series. I'd give it 3½ out of 5 stars.
Watching old Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes. Funny how I never really noticed Lieutenant Yar when I used to watch this show when I was a kidbut now I really wish she weren't in just the first season ;\ Was Counselor Troi supposed to draw in the eye-candy crowd after Yar was killed off? I mean, yeah, she's pretty...I guess... but not really attractive at all. Lieutenant Yar...*ahem*...shall we say, she gets my engine runnin'.
Also how the hell was this show renewed for a second season? Pretty much every first-season episode is just dreadful.

Yeah, I noticed that as well when I recently re-watched season one. As much as I love later seasons of the show, season one was just awful both in terms of the writing and often the acting as well. If the show were to debut today, I doubt I'd even continue watching beyond that first season.
Interestingly enough, the actress who played lieutenant Yar was originally cast as Troi and vice versa, until Gene Roddenberry himself wanted to switch the two around. Denise Crosby wasn't too happy with her new part (can't blame her, both she and Worf were pretty much just window dressing) and wanted out, which is why her character was killed off so soon by arguably the worst-looking ST villain ever.
