It's a great show and I did not like it at first. It has one of my all time favorite gay characters of all time on it. I love how Max is just a guy who happens to be gay and not a gay guy, you know? I can relate.

i miss mission hill's gay couple, they were my favorite. i liked the episode when one of them had the butcher knife stuck in his head and didn't want it removed. also the one when they go to buy condoms for gay sex.

Haha I love the one with the knife. And the other guy just added more ridiculous stuff to it so he would get it removed. I need to watch through that show again.

I can't wait until Sunday so that Breaking Bad season 5 starts. It's sad that it's the final season though...

Just saw Breaking Bad episode 1, season 5. Psyched to learn that this season will have 16 episodes.

I've recently been watching episodes of The Ricky Gervais Show.

I for one find it hilarious.

i finished watching Homeland. i enjoyed it very much. the finale wasn't as intense as i hoped, but i liked it anyway. i read the imdb complaints which i shouldn't - nothing can ruin a movie or a show like imdb can.

at the very end i was actually expecting carry's revelation to happen since i remembered brody's sleep talk and when it happened at the very end it was awesome. the whole thing is frustrating but that's what's so good about it.

Edit. Also watching doctor whoo second season and i like it but i dont like this doctor. He always makes the same face like an indignant drag queen and im tired of seeing the top whiteof his eyes. It is very distrating

This is why I go to AV Club for commentary instead--usually for these shows it's pretty high quality. I thought the finale was pitch-perfect right down to the dismissal of Carrie's "remember" talk.

And the obvious climax scene was also flat-out brilliant and very, very nerve-wracking.

    "State of Play"

I wish I had watched the serial before watching the film, because it's definitely superior. Given that relatively little was changed (plenty had to be cut, to get from 6 hours down to 2, but not much was changed), the power of the big plot twists was a bit lost on me. Which was too bad.
