It just dragged on. The whole second half has like nothing happening.

Oh, so it was considered good up until this point and it's all downhill from here?

    Yeah. Pretty much.
The first season was just so fast pace that the second just seemed to drag it's feet.

Anything that has aired on toonami/adult swim is not code for "not so popular". But yes, it is a fantastic anime serial.

When it comes to Walking Dead, I much prefer the comics.

I just finished watching the second season of The Walking Dead and thought it was pretty damn terrific, even better than Season One, as the characters were allowed to develop quite a bit more.

MagicMurderBag7 had mentioned how the pacing was off and how most of the season seemed to drag on, but I wonder if I never got that sense from this season because I watched all 13 episodes in just under two weeks. With watching TV shows when they originally air, it adds a certain dynamic to the show. You wait at least a week for a new episode and in that time you've thought about the show, read some reviews and discussed it with other fans. When the next episode airs and you don't think it delivers narratively, it can be frustrating that you keep having to "wait for something to happen."

I wonder how many "really boring" seasons of television viewed during their original airdates over several months would benefit from watching them again over a shorter period of time. And then it almost makes me want to go back and watch the last season of Lost this way. Almost.

Working through the first season of Burn Notice on Netflix. It's a tad awkward, because I've seen a lot of later episodes and I guess I'm spoiled on a few things (such as the death of a certain major supporting character), but I really wanted to see them from the beginning.

I've only just now bought the three seasons of Veronica Mars, and I'm enjoying them. Is it my favorite show? Not yet, no. But they are quite enjoyable.

I'm also starting to re-watch House. I only have three episodes left of season six, and then on to the seventh!

It was a good drama piece with a few nods to neo-noir and I LOVE noir as a genre.
