    Like Bunheads!

And if you're not watching Bunheads and you like fast-talking shows, you should really give it a try (even if the premise is heavily female-coded). It's one of the more fun and yet emotionally honest shows around at the moment.

The first episode of Community this season had me a little worried, but the one that was on tonight was just fantastic, and more importantly it felt like Community. Here's hoping the rest of the season keeps up this quality, plus any additional seasons, which looks more and more likely.

This last episode of Community was written by Megan Ganz, probably the show's biggest secret weapon in structure. The "secret gym" scene was pretty hilarious, and I got a kick out of Annie's introduction as Ring Girl, but I did little more than smile this episode.

Apparently advance reviews suggest that next week's convention episode is in fact one of the worst of the lot. Prepare yourself accordingly, and let's hope further episodes can live up to this one.

Also, this week's Parks and Rec was hilarious. The collective shots of Ron and Joan were comedy gold.

Yeah, I probably liked it more than most, because of my huge man crush on Donald Glover. His line reading of "Secret Dogs" in said gym scene had me literally in tears.

I hope the Inspector Spacetime convention one is better than advertised, I may like it more than a lot of people because I am a huge Doctor Who fan. I remember rumors last year of actual actors from DW coming on, but those offers were all rescinded after NBC fired Dan Harmon. Pity, that could have been awesome.

And yes, Parks was on fire this week. I would watch an entire episode of Ron hosting a talk show.

MST3K on YouTube + PS3 YouTube app = good times. I'll probably use it for QI, too.

It's awesome. There are some episodes missing, like the Godzilla flicks, but they have most and in fairly good quality. As Misties, we can't really ask for more.

Well, my lowered expectations helped, but aside from some gratuitous Britta fanservice I didn't feel like it was a particularly GREAT episode. But it wasn't the worst episode by any stretch of the imagination--it just felt more like early Season 1. I actually think I got more chuckles out of last night's TBBT than I did last night's Community, which is not a reversal I ever expected.

Parks scored well with its wedding episode, though. The one that followed was all right (Perd Hapley has all the great line deliveries in this world), but why the heck didn't they air last week's episode and the wedding on one night instead? The wedding episode did a very strong job of coating the room in dust. So much dust. Everything from the framed letter to the shot of them sitting in front of the sunflower mural was nothing but a warm, gooey feeling inside. And great use of Retta's pipes.

Yeah, I liked it quite a bit. More than the season premiere, not as much as last week. Lots of dumb little in-jokes for Doctor Who fans. The Jeff and Annie thing seems a bit forced, but come on, we all knew that was going to happen.

and yes, more Britta in her underwear, please, lol.

My wife was a big fan of Gilmore Girls, so there was no way she was gonna miss Bunheads.

Who do I have to get drunk in order to get "Red Solo Cup" in Rock Band?

Between Bunheads' finale (which didn't feel like a finale, but still) and last night's Justified, is this week about making my heart ache?
