What were the last TV shows you watched?

Man, I don't ask this to piss over anyone who's enjoying it still, but am I the only one that found it too hard to watch this season? I don't even mean that the way some people do when they snarkily say a show's crap now. But like, Kevin's gone from lovable simpleton to aggressively moronic, James Spader seems to treat the office the way a five-year-old treats an anthill with a magnifying glass, and Gabe—what the F@&#. They never even properly wrote him back in after sending him to another branch last season (unless I missed something), which I wouldn't mind if he wasn't so... AUGH. Plus, the tone of the show has definitely returned to the sandpaper-for-the-brain painful level of awkward the early seasons went for, and I only ever really got into the show once I realized they'd pretty much eschewed it completely. (Save for Scott's Tots. Holy crap.)

I agree with most of what you said. The show just isn't as good anymore. It really should have just ended last season.

Hopefully it will end soon and be given a proper finale. I hope it ends with them as older versions of themselves watching the documentary. Also i'm hoping Steve Carell comes back for the final episode and that Michael has plenty of children with Holly.


And i just remembered that Shameless UK was on tonight so now i have to find somewhere to watch it.

I spent the past several day shooting through seasons 1 and 2 of Boardwalk Empire. It's a great show but it's starting to stray too close to specific character arcs and storylines from The Sopranos. Hopefully Terence Winter can steer this thing back and avoid copying to his past work.

And on another note, Justified returns tonight!!!

Uk shameless tonight kind of sucked. Not a fan of Billy. The B story was interesting though. Best part was the next week on when they showed that it was going to be a Mickey episode next week.

With Community on "hiatus", the title of Funniest Show on TV is up for grabs. I think it's gonna be a good fight between Parks and Rec and Modern Family and last night's episode of Modern Family definitely put it in the lead. I laughed more during those 30 minutes than I have in quite some time.

Finally caught up on Justified. Mags Bennett goes in the hall of fame for best TV villains ever. Her and Gus Fring from Breaking bad. Just amazing. The season 3 premier was great, always good to see Wynne Duffie's creepiness.

Starting to watch Parks and Rec now. I's just starting season 2. Season 1 was ok, but really uneven. I've heard it gets a lot better, so I'm sticking with it.
