"Cash Cab" Fun take on the fairly simple concept of the quiz show - your contestants don't know they're contestants until they get on the show! How it works is a van-sized cab is outfitted with video screens and game show lights and sounds, and the cab driver acts as game show host, asking his fares questions of increasing difficulty for relatively small amounts of money (each question is worth between $25 and $100), but still a good chunk of unexpected changeThe fares have to make it to their destination without answering three questions incorrectly, or else they not only don't win any money, they also have to get out of the cab!
He was better as a one-shot thing; they didn't do his character any service making him a regular. Hopefully S9 will be an improvement, although with people on either side of the show jumping ship I think S9 should be written to be the last one.
I shotgunned through Happy Endings last week. Why did I not watch this show before?

2nd episode of Saving Hope was squee-worthy. The ratings are apparently sucking in the USA, but it's doing fine in Canada, and CTV is making the cancellation/renewal decisions on this, thank the Gord!
And Cash Cab is fantastic. It's the only gameshow I'll actually stop and watch if I hit it while channel surfing.![]()

Special Tuesday edition of "What Would You Do?" tonight with one of my favorite scenarios I've ever seen on the show - a teenage boy approaches strangers in a pharmacy asking them to buy condoms for him because he doesn't want his mother to see him making the purchase. He provides the money, he just wants the strangers to physically make the purchase.
Lots of intriguing variables with this scenario.
Ahaha, one of the strangers agreed to do it, and the druggist asked him which ones, and he said "The smallest you got."
Ohhhh, now they're switching it up to have a teenage girl ask strangers to buy her the morning-after pill. That's....a bit heavier.
Hmm...more of the strangers helped the girl than the boy. I would not have expected that.

I finished Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes season one. It was pretty good. Took a few episodes to actually start but it was a cool show and I'm looking forward to season 2 coming to Netflix as soon as it's done airing.
I started Fantastic Four: Worlds Greatest Heroes. Only watched the first one so far but I'm not really digging it. It seems so fast paced that it skips over having a story.
There, happy W³?

Interesting show that stimulates the mind of your inner perspective artist. About advertisement agencies competing against each other for their better ideas to introduce to their clients.
The Great Escape
A little too similar to the Amazing Race even though I'm fully aware it's made by the same crew. That's the problem though, it was too linear. It wasn't trying any method to escape, it was a guided foot race in disguise.
I've also been watching America's Got "Talent" (emphasized quotes) but honestly that's because I'm running out of TV shows to watch.
