I dunno, everyone I know who watches Homeland, including myself (I was a huge fan of the first season), were very disappointed with the second season. I hope it improves in season 3. Like I said, i don't want another Dexter situation.

Awards should be given to the best actor every year, regardless of whether they had won the previous year. As much as I love Damian Lewis (seriously a cool dude, great actor), Don Draper and Walter White are iconic characters, and while Cranston has gotten his due, the fact that Hamm has yet to win is completely ridiculous. I mean, for my money, the most recent seasons of MM and BB were easily their best, and easily the best acting-wise for the two leads.

The less said about the comedy category in general, the better. Obviously.

Personally I thought the second season of Homeland was great... sure it may have gone a bit over-the-top plot wise at times, but it was still great. I can't wait to see what direction the show goes in season 3.

Season 7 of Dexter was a return to greatness for the series, after the not-so-great previous two seasons. So I'm not sure what you're referring to~.. unless you haven't seen the latest season yet

Hamm's best season was Season Four. "The Suitcase" is the definitive showcase in my mind for Hamm (and Moss).

Can't say for Cranston; only on Season Two.

Like, remember when everybody thought Dexter was good? Kinda like that.
Dexter's first two seasons are good, and I will stand behind that, the way I will stand behind Homeland's first season and the first half of the second (the rest of it is pretty dependent on what comes next, but looks promising).

Also, the fact that Justifed never gets nominated for anything is moronic. The acting on that show is outstanding, Walton Goggins in particular.
    Preach.

I've been a Walton Goggins fan since The Shield. (Although his character was a **** )

    30 Rock series finale:

Not great. Really the episode last week made for a better series finally. This was just like "lets see how many call back jokes we can make in an hour". Just not what I wanted.

    The Office:

Really not enjoying this new boom operator story. Best part about him was his interaction with Meredith in the cold open of the first episode tonight. "Hey boom guy, when you gonna boom me?". I love Meredith.

Them's fighting words. The whole finale was fantastically hilarious and didn't require callback jokes for that. Pete talking incessantly about faking his death, Jenna arriving in LA (the shot of the janitor in slo-mo and being greeted by Brunette Cerie being awesome), Aardvark getting Blimpie, Liz seeing the Grizz & Herz ad in the lower third, the Tommy Westphall fake-out at the end, none of that was callback, although a lot of it was character-based. The parts that required callbacks were pretty touching, including the heartfelt talk with Tracy at the strip club ("and because the human heart is not properly connected to the human brain" was probably one of the greatest, most honest lines in the history of sitcoms) and the final talk with Jack on the boat (the fantastic admission of platonic love, which somehow included the phrase "an invitation to climb Bone Mountain").

While I loved the way last week's episode ended, I think this week was necessary for everyone not Liz or Jack.

And, come on, how could you not love callback jokes like the extended Rural Juror song?

Five eps of Justified with Boyd and Raylan separated was worth it to see the reunion.

I spent the whole day watching Raising Hope on Netflix. I'm nearing the end of season 2.

So many My Name Is Earl references. My favorite of which was Patty the Daytime Hooker showing up. I also love how much Kate Micucci is on with her uke.

Yep, I'm done with the Walking Dead. Too many great shows on right now to keep up with this mess.
