Tossing up whether to watch Season 5 of The Wire or start re-watching Mad Men.

I binged horrifically on The Wire when I first started watching it (I watched the first four seasons in literally about 2 weeks) but that was about 6 months ago. I want to save the last season though, because there is obviously no more new eps for The Wire and I can't afford both the emotional connection (I actually felt emotionally drained, almost like a break up or a family death) after watching The Wire.

I might also watch the episodes of Treme that I have stored away. I liked the first couple, but never watched the whole series.
All I want in life’s a little bit of love to take the pain away...

I did that as well, although I didn't take a break, watched all 5 seasons of The Wire back to back. Not a good idea, it's a fantastic show but I wanted to jump off a bridge by the end.

Yeah, the end of Season 3 (you have a lot coming up very soon, Criterium!) was the most emotional experience I've ever had from watching a TV show or a movie. I had to take a break from the show after Season 4; I just couldn't handle it. It's taken me about 6 months to get back in a place where I can even think about watching it.

    America's Got talent

Although judging by the winner, America's far from it.
