My rec's if you want a long series with a great story:
Monster (drama/horror series with one of the most amazing stories captured in animation. took 5 years before this masterpiece was dubbed in English), Legend of the Galactic Heroes (old space-drama series, large cast can be overwhelming, but amazing once you get into it. still has not been dubbed in English), Hajime no Ippo (boxing anime with a couple specials in between two seasons. dubbed) ... Gintama is supposed to be really good too.
    Is Monster dubbed by Funimation?

I'm sorry, is that okay? You sure? Ha, alright. Okay. Sorry though

    Viz.

I'll second Monster and Legend of the Galactic Heroes, the latter of which I'm watching now. Twelve episodes in, and I'm already impressed.

No irony here, I think three bronies just happened to post at the same time. It is addictive as hell, and as HeyRiles said it is a shout out to cartoons of our childhood.

Sarah and I have been watching Corner Gas, since we ran out of new episodes of Community and Big Bang Theory. We're on season 3 right now and just saw the one with all the Littlest Hobo jokes. I laughed until I cried when they played the Hobo song during the end credits.

I watched the season 2 finale of Justified last night and, damn, that show does not disappoint. It's going to be a long wait until season 3 starts next year.

Thanks to Netflix, I finally got around to checking out the short-lived show "Party Down" and, I gotta say, I absolutely love that show. It only ran for two 10-episode seasons (at half an hour an episode) and I ran through all twenty eps in 3 days. I highly recommend it.

I finally finished the first season of Mad Men, I don't think I'll be continuing with it. Don't get me wrong, it's very well done, it's just the characters are all so miserable, it's kind of maddening.

I'm thinking of checking out Justified next.

Damn good choice. That's my favorite show on television right now. That's sad to hear about Mad Men though because I'm planning on checking that one out when it hits Netflix in July.
