Stuff we got!
"Blue (Da Ba Dee)" - Eiffel 65 (Thanks!)
If you can't get them to count as 1 song, I think just release the 2X Bass version. I don't know about most drummers, but I know I'll never get to expert on any 2X Bass song anyway, so it will never effect me, and for most other hardcore RB drummers, I think the 2X bass option is what they'd prefer.
Then again, I still think they should have made the Expert chart the hard chart, the hard chart the medium chart, and the medium chart the easy chart on 2X charts.

+1 to pretty much all of your song requests. Like you, I really wish there were some way for the other 2 Free Spirit tracks to make it over.
On the 2X bass pedal issue- I really have no preference regarding which version comes over since I don't play drums. My only vote is for Harmonix to not take up two of our limited weekly slots to bring over both versions of the same song.

Chuck Berry/Jerry Lee Lewis/Buddy Holly
Guns N Roses
Springsteen
Van Halen
Sammy Hagar Mas Tequila
Garth Brooks
If Harmonix were authoring the song, there would be no double bass version. The stock Rock Band hardware only comes with one bass pedal, which is why they've been authoring songs that way since Rock Band 1, and why all double bass songs have to include a single-bass counterpart.
Why do people keep suggesting it as if it's not a terrible idea that would create an insane difficulty curve for people who don't frequent forums like this? And what about people who play on Easy? Then again, I still think they should have made the Expert chart the hard chart, the hard chart the medium chart, and the medium chart the easy chart on 2X charts.
My solution? Make an optional fifth "difficulty slot" available for use in all songs, all instruments, all charts. Call it "Special," and use it for whatever unique situations might come up. In most songs it would just be greyed out (it's Dance Dance Revolution "ONI" difficulty all over again!), but in certain cases it would be used.
Does a song have kick-ass parts for both Lead and Rhythm Guitar? You'd have the option to chart an Expert Rhythm chart on the Guitar "Special" slot. Not a perfect solution since you wouldn't be able to chart the full span of difficulties, but you also wouldn't run into the Keyboard/Pro Keyboard chart rule that makes rhythm guitar impossible.
Want 2x Bass? There's your Drum "Special" slot. Double bass becomes a lot more organized, no longer more expensive than Pro Guitar charts, and we'd have an accurate count of the number of songs released. Currently, almost FIVE PERCENT of the songs on RBN are unnecessarily duplicated versions, when they could just be included with the original.
Want to mock your guitar-playing friends on Ziltodia Attaxx!!? Kick in the "Special" vocals, and your lyrics could change to speaking Ziltoid's voice-overs.
I'm sure it would never happen because it would require a patch, might cause complaints about difficulty when the 2x Drum Players always hit the top of the leaderboard, and would make the RBN song options look better than the STANDARD DLC.
I'll keep posting this each week, and updating till I get everything.

"Country Song" - Seether (7/12)
I'm perfectly fine with 1 of my requests a week, though I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants a few of these. That said, the Free Spirit song we got has become a favorite of mine, and ends up getting played almost every time I turn on RB3, so I really would like the other 2.

At this point in time, it would require a significant rework of the infrastructure and PS3 pipeline, including a multi-week pause in PS3 song releases. And once we did that, we wouldn't be able to bring RBN2 songs out until we had a second multi-week pause in song releases and shifted the pipeline back.
I personally don't believe that we will ever release RBN1 songs on the PS3 again. Additionally, I would argue stridently against any internal suggestion that we do so, because the inherent nature of the RBN's structure (founded and 100% reliant upon Xbox technology) already causes delays for PS3 players in receiving RBN songs. I am fervently against adding any further, avoidable delay.
If there is ever a chance of getting RBN1 songs again on the PS3, I promise that I will let you all know as soon as I can. And I would be thrilled to hear your RBN1 wish list if that time ever occurs.
But for the time being, I request that you limit your requests to RBN2 songs.
Please bring Rishloo, any Rishloo on PS3. Really looking forward to play them!
