heard about the howard jones situation going around recently with killswitch engage? when he got hurt was before the show in HoB here. he still tried to get to the stage, collapsed and was carried out. the band, after a mass delay that ticked off the crowd, came out, apologized for not being able to perform, took out out of their time and money to set up a show before the booked club night the next night, flew in phil labonte from all that remains, and stayed well into 1 or 2 in the morning signing everything and apologizing, taking pics, whatever they could do for the fans. the show the next night was awesome

lol damn, i had just edited the fact i forgot to mention it was killswitch engage in there. forgot that there's more than one howard jones. and actually, they did mostly old KSE stuff (phil labonte was the runner up to howard jones in replacing jesse leach) and Reckoning off of the new album (the lyrics on that song are rather easy to remember). phil was halfway hungover, didn't particularly do much lyrics on holy diver either, and we that were there didn't give much of a damn. it's why the crowd did the my curse encore. dude flew from mass. on short notice to front another band on less than a day's notice, so he's excused big time.

That was originally the point of RBN (for unknown bands to get exposure). You should be happy there are as many big name bands as there are.

I agree that goodwill goes a long way but I think Fearless honestly did not mean to charge $3 for this song. We've seen other errors (album art, no label, etc, etc) that are the exact same thing. Just this one is the price field in Magma.

I'm trying my best to get in touch with Fearless or NoisyPuppet (who authored the track) to see what's going on but the Creators site has no messaging system that works.

Also about no song being worth $3, I meant in the big picture. Sure to me there are songs that I would probably pay $3 for because I love them BUT I would unfortunately have to pretend those songs were not available because I don't want to encourage $3 songs.

It will be funny to watch people fall one by one as songs come out for $3 they just can't say no to.

I assure you everyone on these forums will have a breaking point and once people get comfortable spending $3 every now and then this whole debate will fade away.

I will say I was one of the irritated people when Blondie got priced at $3, however, here I am.

I'm going to wait til the song hits the store, but if it is $3 I will buy it anyway.

And I just want to say that bands like Dream Theater and Jimi Hendrix are nobodies to me. Music is about taste and as I said everyone will break when a certain song lands.

Wait wait...you think $3 is overpriced for a song, but then will buy the Stimulus Pack?

Isn't that like a $15 map pack (with only 3 maps?)
