In fact, I just contacted a thrash/death metal band from my local town and they're gonna be in the game soon! Check 'em out here: http://www.myspace.com/tdrivint
Canada is epic because we have 3 Inches Of Blood, Rush (not metal obviously), Billy Talent (not metal), Alexisonfire, Protest The Hero and more! *sigh* I love it.
one of my friends has a band that would want to get their songs into rock band. They even have a master from a live show (all split up into the different tracks too). They don't have anything recorded in a studio, but we might get those live recordings done up.
Here's their band (this is the live show we have the masters for):
My friend is the lead singer/guitarist. They are working on a new song where he plays drums, someone else sings, and they have a saxophone too i think.
oh and they are from Saskatchewan, Canada .....Not sure if you may have heard of these bands but Wide Mouth Mason, Jordan Cook, One Bad Son, etc. have all come from Sask. I think Streetheart started out in Saskatchewan too.
Strata - Piece By Piece
My Darkest Days - Porn Star Dancing
Nickelback - Animals
Bands - Hellyeah, Halestorm, Hail the Villain
I thought Canada was all aboot Hockey... 'til RBN came and exploded my ears with awesomeness! ^.^
I always thought Canada's chief export was Shania Twain.
I'd love to give everyone candy corn.
I require more New Pornographers.
Yes, I'm a bit of a dick. That being said, you'll only notice when someone deserves it.

Yeah, Canada has probably some of the best quality metal to date.
