My pick for example....I would happily pay 10 dollars to play "House of The Rising Sun" by The Animals in this game, let alone a measly $3.

Don't worry, Ehfahq: There's plenty of artists who view this whole thing as an opportunity to build an audience, and don't count on making money in the short term. There will always be $1 material here, because "the music scene is crazy/ bands start up/ each and every day..."

I really really want to say no and as of right now that answer stands.

However if something that my band would all love and would get a TON of play AND was a favorite song of mine... I'd have to show a lot of willpower to keep up my word.

That is a GRAVE misspelling of 'Ploy of Oracle', my friend. haha.

In all honesty, it would have to do with the length of the song for me. I could love it to death, but if it #3 for a 2-3 minute song, then im sorry but i'll just leave it to my i-pod instead.

If songs by Dream Theater that fit the length, or the full Prequel to the Sequel by BTBAM were to be released, I'd drop $3.

Length of song doesn't matter to me at all, in fact a longer song is a bit of negative for me.
