Rock Band Network : Double Bass/ Expert+, Huh?

    Hey Guys,

I have been somewhat confused recently about Rock Band Network's Expert+/ Double Bass songs. I think RBN is awesome, but it seems that every metal song i have seemed to demo, there is no double bass charted. I know there could be because i can hear it within the song. On Youtube, i have seen songs in Audition Mode (yes, i know thats just a testing software) where double bass is infact charted. Is double bass in songs not aloud on the RBN itself? Or have no double bass songs been put out there yet? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Rock on
    Puffs.

There are a lot of unofficial RBN songs made. You'll notice when they miss a note ALL of the audio goes off, because they just used an mp3 and all of the tracks are together.

Example: this unfortunately is not a real RBN song

No, double bass is not allowed. Same charting rules as official HMX DLC.

Authoring standards on the RBN require that everything be playable by one pedal.

We can't chart double bass due to the authoring standards set by Harmonix. You must be able to play every song on a stock drum kit with one pedal.

It's funny though because that chart is well done (I only notice one error, they use "), they should be making money from doing real charts but instead they PAY money to do these.

I'm happy that there is no double kick charted within songs on the RBN, it's something that I was wondering about.

Most of the people doing custom charts are using a student account, so they're not really paying.

Oh. Well still, they could be getting paid for it instead.
