Will PS3 users get the RBN this Thursday?

seeing as we prob wont get it till RB3 I have to say for all the metal haters on the forums there's more of it on the RBN than anything else, you think HMX would notice this and stop releasing pop/rock crap on the PS3

Some of the best selling tracks over the past year or so include:

Last Resort
Don't Stop Believing
All Star (Admittedly, judging from a stellar first week)
Lady Gaga (Pack + Cartman)
Disturbed.

You could argue about Disturbed and Last Resort, but these mostly qualify as pop/rock.

Metal sells well too, but mostly it's mainstream stuff (which tends to be more pop/rockish or "popular" metal like Distrubed or Avenged Sevenfold.that tends to fly off the Virtual DLC shelves and onto hard drives everywhere.

That would be 'crap' in your opinion.

Metal is popular, sure, so never fear, there will always be metal tracks released, along with punk, rock, grunge, pop, country, emo, new wave, southern rock, alternative... blah blah blah.... (aka OTHER popular music that OTHER people like). Heaven forbid diversity...

It would only be ridiculous if they had actually said that 30 days after songs are released to RBN, they will appear on the PS3. They never said any such thing, so their current actions are completely in-line with what they said they would do. You're a mere 2 weeks over that 30 day window.

IMHO, saying that it will be 30 days at least, sets up the expectations that ~30 days after a song appears on the 360 it will appear on other systems.

it gets mentioned cuz thats how it is
sure, none of the current songs made it by the 30 day window that were at release
and neither did many of them that were a few weeks in

BUT that doesnt stop future songs from hitting that point, and the 30 days may be something they are being held to so it HAS to be mentioned

otherwise people will just whine from day 1 that the song should be on both systems sinse there is no mentioned exlusivity at all


right now im sure its being looked at as to how to efficiently and "cost effectively" port songs over, and once a system is more in place to do so, thats when the 30 days will start mattering alot more. that system just isnt yet in place

because things in the real world dont just happen "because you want them to" at the speed you want it

things get held up, pushed back, etc etc, especialy in the gaming world.

this has nothing to do with wether or not HMX wants songs on the PS3, its moreso about how to do it, remember, its not as easy as just porting over a song

Then dont come out and lead people on with dates and doulbe talk.

A more honest answer would be 'We dont know when the songs will come out on other systems'
