im hoping for some news this friday with the rest of the dlc announcements. its a longshot but who knows
I think the problem isn't whether someone makes a "reasonable" post. I personally don't even think it has anything to do with what consoles people own. For the most part, the regulars on this forum have what can be considered the most up-to-date, "correct" information, or at least the most "reasonable" explanations for why things are the way they are.
The problem is that just because these regulars usually have the most reasonable explanations, they also seem to believe that they can be condescending, sarcastic, and/or punitive to people who don't frequent the forum as much or those who just don't know any better and are just venting some frustrations. The regulars in this forum just seem to focus on being "right" and being "informative" to others, but not enough on being respectful or welcoming. It comes down to one's attitude and tone in which to be informative.
Sure, there are many people (in this case, PS3 users) who would start a thread in a hostile fashion, in addition to being "unreasonable" about this particular subject, but really, the regulars don't have to play along and turn it into an argument every single time. If they annoy you, and you don't think you can give them the information in a positive manner, just don't answer them. If they're already hostile from the get-go, it's not like they're going to change their minds, or be less annoying once you inform them.
Of course, it's difficult to even stop myself sometimes from flaming someone, but I can at least acknowledge afterwards that I probably should not have enjoyed myself that much at the expense of someone else.
From what I've read, the moderators (and probably the developers) want this forum to be a pretty positive place for everyone, and that includes people who don't frequent the forum often. Unfortunately, it seems like most regulars here don't really care about what moderators and developers want, and are just here for their own amusement, so they don't really think about HOW they are addressing other people.

If I can't be happy I don't see why anyone else should be.
I'm kidding, I love you HMX. Its Microsoft that is the Adversary.
My aggravation is more pointed towards the lack updates. I'd happily wait another month for RBN content on PS3 if some word was passed explaining why.

why are you all getting mad at microsoft? cuz they made an indie program? sony and wii should crate something like that then you can do the same exact thing. some of the guys are right if it wasnt for XNA then there would be no RBN
write to sony or nintendo and tell them to create such a thing
The Gates's are really great people, esp. compared to that evil genius Steve Jobs, but in the "questionable practices" department, Sony is a shining avatar of awesome next to Microsoft's game of Monopoly.
Antdogs, I would have hoped that HMX would wait for a platform friendly to all consoles before moving forward with RBN. The problem with your suggestion is that, as I understand how RBN works now, any new program developed independent of Microsoft's XNA would not be able to carry current or future content developed by artists already working with XNA. I would turn into another content war, Artist working under Sony Records would only develop for PS, Kung Fu only for XBox and so on.
