We're trying to work in these fan favorites and cool stories as we choose what stuff to take stuff over to PS3. To kick things off, you'll probably notice that a good handful of "name" acts will be coming over, but all of these bands are awesome for helping us build the network and being early adopters of this new set of tools. So let's not discount them as being less than great just cause you know their names

If people are rallying behind a smaller act and we can sense the demand for it, we'll try to juggle the pile for PS3! To reiterate: there are long submission times for this content, so you demanding a track on Wednesday doesn't mean we can put it out thursday...it'll still take a few weeks. But let us know and we'll keep adjusting our approach!

A quick aside: for every 3 people I hear saying "give the little guys a chance" we have 500 jerks on facebook screaming about how they've never heard of Steve Vai and these 5 "no name bands" are a waste of time...so you know, it's a rational balancing act pleasing these disparate and totally reasonable communities

I'm glad to be posting more actively on the forums. You guys are wicked civil and I'm glad (most of) you can see this as a positive step forward! keep the feedback coming!

    Love,
    HMXJohnD
youll always have people calling others no name bands though
regardless of how popular they are
or have we forgetten the reaction to Judas Priest
    DLC I want
    Golden Earring
    Michael Jackson
    Paramore
"More" Miley Cyrus, you can never have enough

There are definitely some seriously absurd comments on the Facebook page. Anyway, I'm glad to see the PS3 finally getting some tracks... including 1 from my request list and another two that I might be purchasing as well.

Thanks for working so hard on our behalf, HMX!

Yeah, I guess I just find it patently hilarious when people do it with their real names and profiles tied to ignorant public ranting. I'm all for people needing to blow off steam and process things as they learn about them, I'm just surprised how public they are about it

I'd say most are ignorant to what they say, even with their real names out there. I have plenty of friends who accept random people as friends without a care. In general, I don't like Facebook anymore, I just put statuses on the occasion, like The Capitals awesome game tonight

I just want to say thanks to John Drake for all the Main Drag tracks. They are amazing on drums. I'm close to having both full albums. How We'd Look on Paper is one of the best songs on RBN!
I'd love to give everyone candy corn.
