Don't care for the singles this week, and some of the No Doubt material sounds decent but they've never been my speed. Still, it's cool to see so much material being offered, especially announcing PS3 RBN material on the same day.
    DLC requests:
Opeth, Symphony X, Dream Theater, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, Elvuitie, Epica, Nightwish, Arctic Monkeys, Cream

Pass for me this week. I already have the No Doubt songs I want, and the singles aren't my cup of tea.

Kudos to everyone else digging the releases.

Having a complete Tragic Kingdom ...should... be huge.

It's weird. Somehow my excitement is tempered by the fact that we've already got 5 tracks off it.

I'll still get it, I would have thought I'd be more excited though.

I'll be checking out the other two tracks come Tuesday, as well.

I'd love a retro 80s rock/hair metal pack even more!

My point was only it seems less and less the core of the newer stuff being released is rock hits. When we do get rock it tends to be new stuff, or not the hit tracks, or a live version or something that strays from the integrity of the original.

I know I am being critical here, but it stems from frustration of so little stuff this year that appeals to the three of us here at my place. Last year I probably bought >100 DLC tracks and this year I've had funds sitting in my PS3 wallet for months with nothing compelling to spend it on. I just want to happily give you guys my money, is that so hard?

And here is a blast from the past, this makes it easy to compare one year ago to the DLC today. These are the DLC tracks from March/April 2009. Ahhh the good old days!

    Jane's Addiction Nothing's Shocking
    Styx, REO Speedwagon and Hautewerk
    GNR Chinese Democracy
Toby Keith, The Shins, Black Tide & BFMV
Journey, Pat Benatar, SXSW, and SpongeBob!
Rock Band Track Pack: Classic Rock Announcement
    Pearl Jam's Ten
Against Me, New Pornographers, Papa Roach
    The Offspring, R.E.M., Richard Thompson
    Stevie Ray Vaughan
That makes me sad.... that's when I got to spend a lot of money and actually be really excited for a few things.

Still waiting for some Hair Bands!!! Last thing released for Hair download was Motley Crue over 2 years ago! (Night Ranger is not Hair!) I will not be picking anything up Tuesday, I already have all the greatest hits from the No Doubt album.
Slowly we're getting some Hair Bands?!!!! More Ballads please!!!

I'm kind of meh on the No Doubt stuff. I really liked Tragic Kingdom when it was new, but I've grown tired of it over the years, and there's already a buttload of No Doubt stuff in the game that I don't find all that much fun to play.

I might cherry pick a couple of songs, but if I had my preference I'd rather see some new bands instead.

Absolutely buying the remainder of Tragic Kingdom... my fiancee will be ecstatic about that since it's her favorite No Doubt album.

4/5 RBN tracks are from my wishlist... instant buys on those as well.

Now to look into Orianthi, Picture Me Broken, and Band of Skulls... All are pretty awesome. Full buy week for me!

Another week of "No Thanks!" btw this whole month I haven't spent any points on music. Because it all sucks imo. I guess I should thank you for saving me money.

I hate when people can't wrap their head around the name Rockband. It's catchy and sounds good for what the game is. It never meant it will only be rock music. I also hate when people can't wrap their head around the fact that pop is pop rock. Metal isn't metal rock, but it's still rock music.
It shouldn't bother me...BUT IT DOES!
