Actually, the real flaw in the analogy is that RBN is not a charity even in the loosest sense of the word; people are selling the songs and making money, and having to pay just to playtest seems nothing short of backwards (I eventually caved in, but I don't know if I'm going to renew it when it expires).

Well yeah, that too. If people want their cake and the ability to eat it, go to a bakery and buy one. The sense of entitlement is free. Fulfilling it is not.

it's been a few days since anything has been approved. does anyone know if anything is close?

FYI, nothing is ever released on the weekends, which is why we generally have a build up of releases by monday.

A shame i only have enough points to buy 2 more songs and i wanted to buy 2 of the Deftones tracks this week.... I was saving the rest for the Greenday export.... Decisions decions!

Seether is an auto buy for me, Creed is the next closest thing, but just cause it's mainstream (and a good song, for that fact). Everything else I'll take a listen to and judge whether it's being bought or not from that.

A pretty good list, though. I've heard some decent things about bands such as Exodus and The New Regime.
