I've already said why it shouldn't surprise you, but to paraphrase...
Korn > stereotypical nu-metal band > Follow The Leader, stereotypical nu-metal album > nu-metal: metal with elements of hip-hop and/or rap > guest artists on FtL: Fred Durst and Ice-T
Considering all these things going in, you should have expected to hear a bit of rapping I'd think. Unless you had no idea Korn was a nu-metal band, then that's a different story...
Maybe not, but based on everything I've read from you on here, you live off singles (unless it's Paramore) and singles, generally, are watered-down songs meant for radio play. Just looking at the Korn ratings and now the Slipknot ratings, all the singles are at the top in both cases.I don't listen to the radio.
