    I can empathize with the fanboy close-minded aspect as it reflects poorly on all the people who like them and turn away people from potentially looking into it (people don't play Final Fantasy VII for precisely the same reason). While I do consider myself a large fan I am perfectly willing to accept that people dislike them and have a discussion about the merits/criticism of the band without resorting either to declaring them the best thing on the earth or name calling at other people. As for the thread itself:

    I'm minding the vocals less and less, but a few songs could have been cut out. Still, this band has a lot more potential.
