I also have never had the previews. I've got 2 friends on my list who can and 5 who can't so I don't know what to make of this. I have only bought songs I know so I too might be missing out on songs I might like.
    DLC wishlist:
    [] Theory of a Deadman
    [] Dokken
    [] More Shinedown
    [] Halestorm
    Have RB 1&2,Lego,AC/DC,Green Day,550+ DLC

    Matty,

Did the fact that many of us in the US still do not have the PREVIEW option ever cross your mind? I saw what you posted on November 13th and was pumped because I thought this might have finally been fixed. It still wasn't working on my system, and many of us pointed this out? HTH

I have no preview option for new RBN songs or old ones. The Sleater Kinney song did not have a preview for me, and it's my most recent purchase. I know some people have previews, but it appears to be the minority.

Sorry, I thought my original post simply got buried, since I was seeing that so many posts were worded as if my original post was disregarded as a hoax. To my own fault, I don't go into the RBN section of the forum often. I was hoping that this might be a regional problem, at worst. My apologies for any inconvenience.

Yeah, I very rarely venture over to this subforum either, just check in on new songs 'coming down the pipeline' every now and again. Although I would like to be able to preview these songs, I really doubt it would change my purchasing behavior of most of these songs, however. Oh well...

It is possible that this just applies to tracks that were released since RB3's release - these are the only tracks I ever checked.

EDIT: This does work on songs released for PS3 prior to RB3, as well. Maybe it's because I'm in the US, but this works.
Yeah, the option is simply not there for me (Nashville, TN, USA). I can download previews in the regular store just fine, but nothing in the RBN section.

I do believe you have them... sporadically other people have indicated that they do. It would make some sense if this was just a bug HMX couldn't figure out even after thinking they had it solved, but you would still think we might get an update saying something to that effect.

I'm not going to fault HMX for not being able to immediately fix a problem they can't find in the endless code they must have to sort through all the time... especially if that bug is operating differently on consoles that are apparently the same.

FWIW, I'm on an old fat PS3, hardwired to my router, I have about 5 different RB dongles attached to my USB hubs at all times, my ISP is BellSouth (AT&T), 2-wire modem, attached to my TV via HDMI, upgraded HDD... and I had a bagel for breakfast

Hopefully the QA environment fix is going to find it's way to the 'real world' after the New Year?

I have never had a Preview selection option on RBN songs.
So, I don't buy RBN songs.
    It's pretty simple.
But honestly, and it pains me to say it, I have no faith in HMX to fix any bugs on the PS3 platform.
If some fixes spin off as a result of xbox fixes, that's great.
But PS3 specific things, like RBN previews, RB3 keyboard squelch, and crashes to XMB, I don't think we'll ever see fixes for.
Hope I'm wrong, and only time will tell.
But the story time is telling, like that of the RBN preview issue, is not a very good story.

RBN songs dont have pro guitar/bass upgrades and are CHEAP songs usually created with the software that any old terd can download so they can put there lil high school Gnu METAL songs on rock band....LoL i wish i was 100% joking but there is alot of truth in what i just typed, preview would still be nice for you folks who dont ONLY play pro modes like my stubborn thick skull....

The "enhanced" songs for ps3 all have a preview option, I know I've purchased EVERY single track with pro guitar/bass upgrades that has become available and i will continue to do so as long as i can still turn tricks on the corner to make money for my rockband problem.....

-=my profile has a few pics, facebook has ALOT of pics if you want to see what my setup looks like=-

My roomies took the liberty of busting my chops about RB and they ACCURATELY calculated that I have just over $3300.00 in my rockband setup. Thats including my dolby EQ amplifier 10 inch 360watt subwoofer, my 4 -180 watt Difinitive Audio Flat Frequency Response Studio Monitors and 4 - 40 watt mid/treb satellites that go with the sub system. My PS3 bcuz RB is the ONLY game i own. microphone stands, guitar stands, 2 fender mustang pro controllers, keyboard, drums etc....also I pre-ordered a Squire by Fender Guitar due to be released in march....All my electronics in this room are all FOR RB PRO ONLY, i wont let anyone even watch tv in there, RB is ALWAYS on.....

Thank you for conveniently displaying your total ignorance in the first two lines so that I could avoid wasting time on the FAP FAP FAP thereafter.
