I've seen this argument a lot on the internet, and I think it's s**t. It's like me saying Nike ruined The Beatles for me.


How can the association of a band to something all of a sudden "ruin" the band and cause one to suddenly not like them?

I guess I'm one of the few people out there that does "research" on a band (listening to more than one song) before making a final judgement about them.

Not true. I don't make snap decisions on bands; I like to listen to at least a couple of songs off of different albums (if possible). I have a lot of friends who like Muse and I gave them an honest chance and I just can't stand them.

Also, based on this thread alone, I think your custom title should be changed to "Defender of Muse".

i hadnt even heard of muse until gh3 AND they get absolutely no airplay in south florida.

As for Muse, I gave them a try to see what the hype was about, and didn't like their music at all. The only song by them I like is Knights of Cydonia.
