Wee!!!
Just bought my tickets for Muse & U2 this afternoon. God October is a long ways away! ><; Hopefully the new album gets leaked before September, it'd be nice to have that tide me over before the big awesome show. Plus it'll be worth it, I got seats like right above the stage, and since its an open 360 stage I should be able to get a great view.![]()
I don't see what's so bad about Knights live. It's amazing, probably more refined than the album version, and also the occasional improvised riff!
All of Showbiz would probably work fine, since if there's a piano, there's usually a guitar going at the same time. Definitely want Muscle Museum, Cave and Sober.
Origin of Symmetry is mostly the same. New Born, the guitarist would be bored for a minute or two until the riff comes in. Same with Bliss. Skip Space Dementia, it's all piano. Citizen Erased's piano outro could be guitar charted, or just uncharted. Screenager might be a bit... weird, but still could work. Feeling Good has no guitar line, not gonna happen, same with Megalomania. But, seriously, Citizen Erased and Plug-in Baby would be so epic to play.
Absolution has a few more piano-based tracks... so no Apocalypse Please, and if they included Butterflies and Hurricanes they'd have to cut out the piano solo or else the whole band would get bored! Also, Endlessly and Ruled By Secrecy. The rest would make excellent RB material, do want Stockholm, Fury, TIRO, we've already got Hysteria. Small Print and Thoughts of a Dying Atheist would be PERFECT, they've got the rock vibe and no synths.
Black Holes would be also a little difficult. Would they chart the synthesisers at the start of Take a Bow? What about the practically non-existent guitar line of Starlight for the first minute and a half? I could imagine that a Rock Band chart for Map of the Problematique would be really fun, if it was charted as more than just chords. Of all the albums, apart from Showbiz, this would be the one most suited to being entirely made as DLC.
Do you guys think that now that Lego RB has been officially announced and since HMX and Warner are in it together can we expect the Warner Music to stop being such big @sses and get some MUSE in RB?Originally Posted by HMXSean

I'm gonna say no. AOL-Time-Warner or whatever it's called now is such an enormous company that I'd be surprised if what one side of it does effects the other side. All of the whining is coming from Warner Music, not Warner bros as a whole.
As for Lego RB, it's a rather strange move on HMX's part but I am kind of intrigued by it (SONG 2!!!!!). I wonder if they'll release the RB Lego songs as DLC for "real" RB or if they'll do something like the AC/DC thing where you buy the disk and then you can transfer the songs over. That would be cool.
Also, if it's geared toward a younger audience, what are kids in to these days? Twilight. and What song was in Twilight that all the tweens are going nuts over? Supermassive Black Hole. I would totally be fine with playing as a creepy Lego Matt Bellamy if it meant I could finally play that song in RB.

I would love to play the entire HAARP album, but that seems highly unlikely. With this much feedback on this DLC request I can't imagine we'll have to wait much longer for more Muse in some format though!
