As for Lego RB, it's a rather strange move on HMX's part but I am kind of intrigued by it (SONG 2!!!!!). I wonder if they'll release the RB Lego songs as DLC for "real" RB or if they'll do something like the AC/DC thing where you buy the disk and then you can transfer the songs over. That would be cool.

Also, if it's geared toward a younger audience, what are kids in to these days? Twilight. and What song was in Twilight that all the tweens are going nuts over? Supermassive Black Hole. I would totally be fine with playing as a creepy Lego Matt Bellamy if it meant I could finally play that song in RB.
Agree with this completely. And I hope the RB:LEGO setlist will feature entirely new songs, and of course include an export option.

On an unrelated note: Any one have any DLC song recommendations? I got one of those Star Trek tracks from the giveaway

I want song 2, the final countdown, and kung fu fighting in rock band 2 . I even put kung fu fighting in my rock band 3 setlist.

Agreed. When I saw those on the Lego RB list, my first reaction was "HEY! how come they aren't DLC!?" but I understand the idea of wanting to sell a full-fledged game and I certainly don't fault HMX for going this route. That's why I would absolutely LOVE to see the ability to transfer songs from Lego RB to RB2. I have no problem buying Lego RB but it'd be a hassle to have to switch disks all the time.

On a more Muse related note, I just found out that Manson Guitars sells their pickups by separately (as in, not just attached to their guitars, which I can't afford) so I'm going to order a new Manson MBK2 humbucker for my thinline Tele ^_^ I'm excited!!!

I got "Heartbreaker" with mine. For me, it was between that and "Waking the Demon". That, any of the new Styx and REO Speedwagon content, and select Chinese Democracy tracks ("Riad N' The Bedouins", "If the World", "Chinese Democracy", "Better") would be tight.

    Then again, that's stuff I like .

Post I would want some songs...

I only recognize Invincible, Knights in Cydonia, Stockholm Syndrome, and Starlight out of the 6. Out of those 4, I wouldn't want Knights in Cydonia, only because it would be a b**** to play on guitar (anyone remember GH3?) Stockholm Syndrome would be hard too, but at least it would be bearable.

If I remember correctly, they made you play the synth part in Knights, which is wrong. HMX wouldn't do that if they included the track.

The GH3 charting of Knights of Cydonia was just pathetic so don't let that be the reason you wouldn't have it in RB. HMX would certainly do a better job charting the song.

If you're unfamiliar with Muse's earlier stuff, you should definitely check it out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The two songs on the 6pk that you don't recognize are from the album Origin of Symmetry which is fantastic.

    Very true.
GH3 should not be a reference for charts, ever.

Knights of Cydonia would be a great song on all instruments, especially if HMX maps Matt's crazy vocals in the intro section (the one that dubs the guitar).

Stockholm Syndrome, on the other hand, as awesome a song as it is, I can't see it being much fun on guitar what with the whole verses being tremolo picking, which while not too difficult on a real guitar, I find really annoying in RB. Then again, a lot of Muse songs fall into that category as well, what with Matt's apparent obsession for tremolo-picking

Would Love to see The Small Print and Stockholm Syndrome... Actually you could put the entire Absolution album on there... Why would they just pick Hysteria and leave off all the other amazing songs on this album? Maybe someone has already addressed this but I didnt feel like funnelling through 878 pages to find out if they had...

The current poll ("which of these bands with only one song in RB do you want more of", for posterity's sake) has Muse at 43%. Maybe we should take this as a sign?
