Edit in refference to above post :

1.I know "Knights of cydonia" from GH3 already , its an alright song

2."Invincible" is horrifyingly boring for like 4 minutes straight , not a great idea for RB imo

3.New born : Very repetitive no fun at all drums for practically the whole song D: I take it you play guitar or something

Songs 4 & 5 canceled , your judgement being apparently a guitarist and not a drummer isn't clicking with me lol
^Map of the Problematique is all over the place on the drums and Showbiz's drums (especially if they used the live version from Hullabaloo) would be fun just to bang on the drum kit to.

Also Resistance (the song) would make for a great drum song as well as the drums in USOE and Exogenesis.

As for just Muse songs with good drum parts Feeling Good has a wicked drum solo, Easily is pretty ambient and tribal sounding, Man of Mystery would provide a challenge even if it is a short song, Butterflies and Hurricanes has some pretty tricky drums, Space Dementia, Apocalypse Please, Eternally Missed, City of Delusion, Hoodoo and Citizen Erased would all be pretty fun drum songs too.

Ok but not now , I spent like an hour+ straight listening to Muse songs I don't know so I've had enough for right now

    Fair enough.

Also guys these pro-shot vids just surfaced from the Seaside Rendevous gig, Uprising is pretty electrifying and we get to see the new Keytar in action!

    Sweet, I'll check those out.

I must say, I've been listening to The Resistance the entire day and I absolutely love it. Favorite song so far is torn between Resistance & Unnatural Selection.
Side note: I think they should've kicked the album off with Resistance instead of Uprising, the intro is just perfect.

    [QUOTE=Sveppi;3022118]Sweet, I'll check those out.

I kinda think Resistance should have been later on, 6 or 7. Easily my favorite on the record.
    The PR transmissions will resume.

Well Dom said they pretty much put it as the 2nd track to trip up the listeners who were expecting a song along the lines of TAB and Apocalypse Please as the opening song.

Hadn't heard that. I believe it would've worked brilliantly as an opener, with that ominous extended intro.
I wish I could un-hear Resistance so I could hear it for the first time again, it was so amazing.

Edit: After further listening Resistance is absolutely my favorite track on the album. Need it in RB, now!

Eh, how's the quality on the leak? Just curious.

  10. #10360
Well the leak I got was supposedly 320kb but apparently there is a 320kb out there that is transcoded meaning its a 160kb recording coded to look as if its a 320. However it sounds good to me so I really can't complain about it. Anywho I'll probably grab a FLAC or Lossless version tonight and see how it turns out, if the quality is dramatically different from the version I have I'll probably just convert it to mp3s for myself.
