My roommate has a Zune pass.
Apparently, on the Zune marketplace, they have Muse albums that feature b-sides as bonus tracks. Absolution has "Fury", Black Holes & Revelations has "Glorious", etc.
I was thinking, I would like it if HMX was able to get these versions of the albums.
May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?
Muse's version, or a different version?Originally Posted by DJMAKO
Usually the imported Japanese copies of Muse albums have the B-sides on the album (then again that goes for most albums that are imported by Japan.)
Anyways Muse won Best British Band, Best Website (somehow managing to beat both Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, Muse > The Internet), and Matt won Sexiest Man once again.
Sadly though they were cheated out of (yeah if you look at the people who they were against in these categories and who won you'll agree Muse was cheated out as well) Best Album, Best Live Band, Best Live Event (the Teignmouth gigs), Best Band Blog, and Matt didn't get the Worst Dressed Award (somehow Lady Gaga won both the Best Dressed AND the Worst Dressed Awards) or Hero of the Year (the award went to RATM for the whole Xmas single campaign, however RATM had nothing to do with that. It was random people on the internet who started the campaign, not the band. If thats the case the award easily could've gone to some random indie band if the campaign succeeded.)
But yeah Kasabian got best album (compare it to The Resistance and you'll know it was ballot stuffed/rigged), Arctic Monkeys got best live band (I would've maybe agreed if they were going by the old Arctic Monkeys but the current Arctic Monkeys are way too bland and boring in my opinion to be better than Muse's current live show), Blur got the best live event (I can see this happening considering this is NME after all), and Radiohead's Dead Air Space got best band blog (this one was obviously rigged/ballot stuffed, as one who visits it fairly often I'm pretty sure that nothing really worthwhile has been spawned from there besides the normal stuff, at least nothing that can compare to Project Eurasia and Muse's twittering since they started working on The Resistance.)
Also this is old news but I found out Muse won NME's poll for Top 5 Greatest Guitar Riffs of All Time with 4 of their songs taking the top 4 of the top 5:
1. Plug In Baby
2. Hysteria
3. New Born
4. Supermassive Black Hole (this one bugs me since Stockholm Syndrome and Knights of Cydonia obviously have the better riffs)
5. Voodoo Child (Slight Return) by Jimi Hendrix

iTunes has these versions as well. Apparently they're added to the Japanese discs as a bonus because albums cost a lot more over there. Maybe they're added to the online albums to make up for no physical disc. regardless I'd pay $10 for Fury.
And let's hope we get an announcement tomorrow. If not I'll be seeing them on Tuesday so it's not so bad![]()
