Ok, I went a little overboard with that last post, and I highly apologize. I'm not trying to be a troll or anything, I just highly disagree with some of Harmonix's choices for DLC.

Then again, that's why I'm not involved with Harmonix or RB.

For all we know, they could be waiting for RB 3 to come out so they can utilize the keyboard instrument with it, which would be awesome.

Again, I apologize for that rant.

    [RANT] **** Palladia.

Those dumb ****s obviously don't know **** about Muse and whoever edited the concert together needs to be shot several times. I'm getting a strong feeling the way they edited it was meant to bait in Muse fans for better ratings. They opened the concert with Muse and Uprising which is fine but then they switch over to the other bands and that takes up most of the hour. Then they finally show more of Muse's concert at the end however they **** that up as well. They ended the concert with Plug In Baby and Starlight...****ING STARLIGHT. I don't hate Starlight but to have the concert end with that (especially when its fact that the actual concert and concert broadcast ended with KoC) is a ****ing slap in the face. It shows they obviously edited it going with songs only THEY knew. Hell they probably didn't watch Muse's portion at all, why you may ask? Because if they did they'd know the highlight of the bloody concert was their cover of Where The Streets Have No Name with The Edge! Even a non-Muse fan could tell that that would be something much more worthwhile for their viewers to watch and to end the concert broadcast with, not bloody Starlight! Even then there were many more worthwhile performances than Starlight, I would've even been fine with TIRO (even though its overplayed the crowd still got extremely into it during the Glasto performance) and of course there was Citizen Erased, Stockholm Syndrome... Even ending it with the standard of KoC just like the original broadcast would've been fine. I mean really now, really? What the **** is wrong with these ****ing stupid ****s? [/RANT]

Long story short: Palladia ****ed up royally, they shouldn't have opened the concert with Uprising and left the rest of Muse's "performance" for the end of the concert, they should've just left Muse's performance as a whole (even if they were only going to show 3 songs) for the very end instead of baiting and switching, theres more to Muse than ****ing Starlight (odds are they picked Plug In Baby because of GH5 thinking they'd be "hip"), and where the **** was their cover of Where The Streets Have No Name?

That better not happen when i see them in october!! D=

  5. #12585
That won't happen, Muse's actual show will be amazing. However Palladia really messed up editing Muse's performance and it made it look like their concert ended with Starlight. However the actual concert ended with Knights of Cydonia. In fact they put Starlight ahead of Plug In Baby when actually Starlight was played before Plug In Baby during the actual concert. It's just something really stupid on the channel's part.

That's John D at PAX. A funny response, but not very encouraging. I dunno guys, it doesn't sound like we're going to be getting any all that soon, even after RB3 is out.

Wow, kind of a shi**y attitude from Mr. Drake there.

I mean some people here have contacted Muse's management team and got a response that said go to Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Group. I actually wrote WMG once, but never heard anything back.

Granted that was for RBN, which it seems most of HMX has taken an attitude of "if you want it, ask for it for RBN", but the problem is BIG labels (like Warner) have no interest in RBN.

I was going somewhere with this thought, but I seem to have lost the plot. I think what I was trying to say is that some people are asking for it John, not just from HMX but from the parties involved.
May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?

Can you blame him though? Even the quote in your sig supports his views on this.

I mean, imagine how your mom or dad felt whenever you'd go on a long road trip when you were little, and you'd just sit in the back seat asking "are we there yet?" over and over and over again. You'd ask the question a hundred times, and the answer would obviously never change. All that you accomplished was to irritate the **** out of your parents.

Now imagine how those parents would feel if their car was filled with thousands of kids doing that. That's probably similar to how Harmonix feels about this.

They know that people are eager to "get there." They'll let us know when we finally do. But if we keep screaming "are we there yet?" during the whole drive, then the trip is going to feel a lot longer and it's going to be a lot less fun.

^If thats the case though theres an easy solution to that: if they haven't been able to secure the rights to some Muse songs then they should tell us. If they leave us in the dark its THEIR fault for taking us along for the ride and if it really annoys them that much they have no one to blame but themselves for us asking so much for Muse. If they truly dislike us requesting for Muse then they should tell us that its a no go if they simply can't do it. If I recall correctly both HMX, Activision, and Led Zeppelin explained why we'll probably never see them in either RB or GH, why can't HMX explain to us why they can't get Muse if they haven't been able to get them?

We know more or less the basic idea of what goes on in securing the rights so it's not like its that complicated of an issue in explaining to us why they don't have Muse if thats the case. If they had no plans for Muse in the near future they should tell us, asking the label is getting us nowhere and HMX not telling us anything only leaves possibility that Muse may just be around the corner. If it bugs them that much that we ask for Muse all the time then they know what THEY have to do. Either put up or shut up. End of discussion.
