We know more or less the basic idea of what goes on in securing the rights so it's not like its that complicated of an issue in explaining to us why they don't have Muse if thats the case. If they had no plans for Muse in the near future they should tell us, asking the label is getting us nowhere and HMX not telling us anything only leaves possibility that Muse may just be around the corner. If it bugs them that much that we ask for Muse all the time then they know what THEY have to do. Either put up or shut up. End of discussion.

QFT I get tired of apologist making excuses, I know they never promised more Muse, but they have appeared in every GH since III and meanwhile they only have one song of DLC in RB I wish HMX would stop playing coy and just give a honest answer.
    Please Vote for Muse

So, after a listen through of my Muse collection, I think I've got it narrowed down what songs need keyboard charting:

    Showbiz
    - Sunburn
    - Muscle Museum
    - Filip
    - Cave

    Origin Of Symmetry
    - New Born
    - Bliss
    - Space Dementia
    - Citizen Erased
    - Darkshines
    - Feeling Good
    - Megalomania

    Absolution
    - Apocalypse Please
    - Sing For Absolution
    - Stockholm Syndrome
    - Falling Away With You
    - Butterflies & Hurricanes
    - Endlessly
    - Ruled By Secrecy

    Black Holes & Revelations
    - Take A Bow
    - Starlight
    - Map Of The Problematique
    - City Of Delusion
    - Hoodoo

    The Resistance
    - Resistance
    - Undisclosed Desires
    - United States Of Eurasia
    - Unnatural Selection
    - I Belong To You
    - Exogenesis: Symphony Part 2 (Cross-Pollination)
    - Exogenesis: Symphony Part 3 (Redemption)

    Misc. Songs
    - Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)
    - Soaked
    - The Gallery
    - In Your World
    - Con-Sciene
    - Piano Thing

That's it. That's actually a pretty big chunk of Muse's catalog. It does make sense that if HMX were to work with Muse's music, they would want to wait until the could chart the piano and synth parts.
May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?

    F*** yes. Just tell us.

Can you get the rights or not?

    It isn't hard to answer.

There's probably something with GH, maybe they have acquired majority of the rights to Muse songs since they have appeared in GH more than RB. I guess the only reason why they aren't dealing with Muse like they did with Led Zepplin (excuse my butcher of the name) and even AC/DC is because EVERYBODY wanted Zepplin and AC/DC because those two bands are pretty much the epitome of rock. EVERYBODY wanted to play Stairway to Heaven and songs like that, but unfortunately Muse songs I guess are just not as popular.

Unfortunately, I think several people in this thread need to take their anger down a notch.

Drake's response in the posted video isn't offensive in any way. And there is nothing wrong with non-rock offerings as DLC, that's why it's DLC, nobody's forcing you to get/play it (Visions on the other hand ouch, but back to the point). I never got the whole Snoop Dogg thing but if he has songs available as DLC, I'm happy for people who'll download it and have fun with it.

Now don't misunderstand, I'll be as happy as anyone here when we get Muse DLC; but some people need to stop being such whiny *****es about it, because you're making us all look bad. There is always constructive discussion to be had about Muse without a need for spitting on anything that is not Muse.

To me, Muse songs with the new keys and vocals would certainly be worth waiting for RB3. Anything too long beyond that just means that whoever was in charge of making a deal on both sides (i.e. MTV and WMG) screwed up big time, especially with Muse appearing in many GH games. It would suck, but it wouldn't be the first time where major labels have made obviously terrible decisions leading into a lose-lose situation.

Total agreement here. I stand by my prediction that we'll see a big pack at least announced before the end of the year. Possibly in one of those "these 6 bands are coming soon as DLC!" announcements, with Muse releasing last just to torture us further

There absolutely should have been a Muse song in RB3 though...
    Need DLC by:
    [ ] more Muse
    [ ] Incubus
    [x] more Children of Nova
    [ ] Before Their Eyes
[ ] more There For Tomorrow

If Muse won't come to RB, Hexaphim will have to go to Muse. I'm leaving for London today and I'm seeing them play live at Wembley tomorrow. I am tres excited!
