Your sense of what a "good portion" is relative to the size of this thread is way off. With no easy way to prove it, I'd still wager this thread has more unique posters (and voters since this thread was originally a poll) than any other band's, so your point is moot.
The Request a Song feature is really no more, no less representative of what people want than the forums. And it obviously contains bands that are impossible to get for known reasons (i.e. Led Zep) or have complicated licensing structures (old Guns?) or that have since gotten some decent amount of content (The Doors, Queen, AC/DC).
Baring all that, even if Muse really is what, the top-15, top-20 most wanted band? The near-complete lack of content is a big missed business opportunity. Is it the only one? Certainly not. But it IS a BIG one.

Keep on rocking hard!
I agreed there should be more Muse in Rock Band. Now that Harmonix released keys Muse already has that in almost all their songs. Matthew Bellamy is sick on both guitar and piano. He is a also very good singer. The songs posted for Muse are pretty good, but heres an updated version
Uprising
Resistance
Undisclosed Desires
Assassin
Map of the Probelmatique
Butterflies & Hurricanes (Live from H.A.A.R.P)
Sunburn
And finally
Time is Running Out
Please Harmonix start looking to Muse.
The "Request A Song" feature is laughable.
You wanna know why we don't have more Muse, there's your answer. Since people can't get the song titles correct, it registers them as separate requests. HMX is probably trying to license "Knights Of Caldonia", and having a hard time because IT DOESN'T EXIST.

May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?
And I have requested "Nights of Cidonya" all the time lol
Bloc Party.
Luckily for you, there's an actual human with a (semi-)working brain taking a look at the compiled song requests from that feature (used to be HMXThrasher before DC snatched her up, not sure who it is now), so a misspelling or a wrong name here or there doesn't matter that much.
How'd this end up on the 3rd page already. Anyways:
