Haven't been back to this forum in a long time but it's nice to see the Muse thread still at the top of the list. Not that it has done much good.

That tweet from HMXHenry makes me sad. I'm sure they're not doing it maliciously but I can't help but wonder if they're not putting any more Muse in the game just to spite us. It's like when you were little and you used to hassle your parents about some game/toy that you wanted SO BAD and the more you harped on it the less they wanted to buy it for you.

I've pretty much given up on ever seeing (more) Muse in RB. Hey, maybe that Rocksmith game will have some Muse in it and I can play along on my big boy guitar lol

    Yup, two songs.

Anyone who has taken a statistics class will know that the song request page is a pretty bad way to gauge what people want. It's so... voluntary that it is basically saying "this is what -these- types of people want."

Basically, you can see that nothing else uses a method like that because it's proven to be flawed. TV shows don't have a "request an episode" button on their page. While it seems fair and functional, it just doesn't work perfectly. For example, I rarely use it because I never think about it and because I know I'll get outnumbered by bubblegum crap. Either of those two reasons may be correlated to my musical preference which, if the case, would mean certain genres are getting heavily under represented.

Either way, the best way to do it would be for HMX to go out and ask people. That would at least be more fair. (though, in reality, the request page works well enough and HMX probably has a million other methods of deciding DLC that work better [personal preference being one of them, I'm sure])

If I could only have 1 more Muse song, I want "Bliss".

If I could have 2 more Muse songs, I want "Bliss" and "Citizen Erased".

If I could have 3 more Muse songs, I want "Bliss", "Citizen Erased" and "New Born".

May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?

Haven't posted here in a long time, but as someone who kinda likes Muse but isn't really a huge fan, I'd freaking love to see "Thoughts of a Dying Atheist", though I doubt it would happen.

If we got a Muse pack, I'd personally prefer avoiding The Resistance, though it does have some okay songs on it. I'd love to see Bliss as well, and quite a bit more of Absolution sounds "playable" with keys. Black Holes is when they kind of lost me, and as much as I don't really care for Starlight, I would really enjoy playing it on pro keys.

Since you like playing keys, I'm surprised you wouldn't want the 3 parts of "ExoGenesis: Symphony" from The Resistance. Especially parts 2 and 3.

To be honest, it's been a long time since I've listened to The Resistance... I actually only remember the big singles from it. Basically the ones they played when I saw them live. So maybe I would enjoy it.

I really do enjoy Muse, I just sound really cynical about them sometimes because I've heard Black Holes and Revelations probably over 100 times via a friend XD

Yeah, after seeing them live 6 times, some of the "greatest hits" (read: "popular singles") aren't as enjoyable for me as they used to be. That's why for times 5 and 6, I went over to England so I could finally hear the Origin Of Symmetry deep cuts. Hearing the deep cuts made the "hits" portion of the set enjoyable.

Lol. But, even on Black Holes and Revelations there has to be some deep cuts you can enjoy. "Map Of The Problematique" and "Hoodoo", for example. The keys on those songs are awesome. I'd wager that the keys to "Map" would be more exciting to play in the game than the keys to "Starlight".

Map of the Problematique is great, easily the best song on the album in my book. I really enjoy City of Delusion as well, and Invincible definitely has a few great moments (Matt Belamy's playing is at some of his best in it). Take a Bow is extremely nostalgic for me too.

I'm not huge on the hits from that album; Supermassive Black Hole, Knights of Cyndonia, and Starlight are all songs that I'm just worn out on, and didn't really love when I first heard them either.

I might actually have to relisten to Absolution sometime soon. Oddly, that's my friends least favorite Muse album for some reason, so I haven't heard it too much. Origin of Symmetry is good too. As you can see, Muse are really hit and miss for me.
