Do have to wait 'til October 2012 for Muse dlc why can't they just release a pack 01 then pack 02 with their newest songs and latest songs.

No, HMX doesn't have to wait until Muse releases album #6 to add more songs to Rock Band. There are plenty of cases of DLC being made available for the game that weren't tied in to any sort of cross-promotion.

I really do want to know what they did wrong when licensing "Hysteria" to piss off the rights holders, because that's the only reason I can come up with as to why we don't have more Muse songs. Yes, Muse's catalog was transfered over to WMG, but we've had a lot of WMG artists as DLC.

When HMX licensed Hysteria, Muse had still been an alternative band. The Twilight songs have turned them into very popular mainstream band, and WMG most probably tries to milk every penny out of them.

Alternatively, Harmonix DIDN'T piss them off, and just hasn't gone back.


But that probably hurts too much to consider.
