Really good album after my first listen, love Panic Station too, but its intro kinda sounds like Another One Bites the Dust.

That's sort of the point. They were going for that sound intentionally.

If you listen closely, they also channeled "Supersition" on the song as well.

So essentially they're channeling the spirit of Turbonegro?

Rocksmith is now out over here. I'm looking forward to my bundle arriving (which should've been today), so I can stick into Plug In Baby (Resistance, I don't really care about).

I'd still love more Muse on Rock Band though as there's probably over 50 of their songs I'd love to belt out on vocals... (I was crooning along to Muscle Museum just less than five minutes ago!)

Agree with this. And I've had the pleasure of seeing that crappy song live once or twice...

I've listened to all of The 2nd Law a couple of times now. It's better than The Resistance, but I'm still not that keen. Having said that, some of it is growing on me (hated Follow Me, but the Live Lounge performance that was broadcast today might've converted me).

Supremacy and Liquid State are awesome though. Would LOVE to see 'em in Rock Band.

I agree with you on Explorers, but I really like Big Freeze and have grown to love Madness.

Unsustainable and Isolated System are the only others I'd call weak. They just seem like unnecessary filler tracks, especially Isolated System.

Debating buying this album on Tuesday. I don't download albums (legally or otherwise).

I've been pleasantly surprised with nearly all their studio albums so far, yet I wasn't a big fan of Showbiz (sorry RockBandRocker). But I think I may not have given that one enough listens (doing it now, actually).

From the little I've heard, the 2nd Law seems more promising than The Resistance, which was pretty decent.
AsianSteev: if you can read this, put more Ska songs on the RBN! Please?

Bought the album this monday, and I'm going to see them live on the 20th.

Also they played Bliss at tonight's show in Paris, I really hope I they play it when I go see them. Seen them 4 times already and I never got Bliss

Just heard Madness (it was alright), don't feel like Rock Band should have any songs from The 2nd Law though :/ If anything I prefer The Resistance more than The 2nd Law :/ All the song there (Even the Exogenesis Symphony) grab attention more than some songs (Unsustanable, Madness and Survival) off The 2nd Law album :/ And these are singles? I think Muse should stick to what they do best playing some Classical and rocking some synths.

Personally, I find Isolated System to be a great closer.

The music and the mood it sets is creepy yet sad, which works since the piece is conveying the demise of humanity and the death of the planet.
