The reason why people think there is more to it is pretty obvious... multiple appearances in Guitar Hero games and DLC, Singstar Guitar, Rocksmith, and the fact that we did get Hysteria.

Things don't pan out because things happen, and what happened is what we want to know.

No one here is saying they didn't try.

Airing that dirty laundry in public can only hurt our relationship with that band / label, and discourage other bands / labels from working with us again in the future. And yes, if we started talking openly about private negotiations or licensing deals, there could be legal consequences. That's why you haven't heard more than you have.
Sorry about that Aaron, I posted that too hastily and have a reasonable answer for why now. Thanks anyway

RockBandRocker: We will all migrate to the Dance Central forums. It will be like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Munnchy: Only Flashier, with impeccable dance moves.
RockBandRocker: With more glitter and glam. We will survive

Just as an FYI, Muse isn't the most requested band of all time. They're in the top 10 via the forums and they're the most requested via RB World, but they're not the most requested band of all time.

No worries, I understand. You're welcome.

I have a feeling that honour either went to the beatles, or jimmy pages crew...

Guessing that would either be The Beatles or Green Day (since GD was the most-requested artist through rockband.com song requests, I think).

I would guess it's Green Day too.
    Wishlist (possible artists):
    [4] The Killers
    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
    [9] The Offspring

Why would you guess it when they've said it repeatedly?

I think they said Green Day (artist) was the most requested song.

Well, if I could have only one Muse song in RB, I'm glad it was Hysteria. It happens to be my favorite song by them anyway
Friday, Dec 2nd, marks the greatest day of my RB life when they first announced the last 9-pack of Queen. HMX is my best friend
