Muse DLC. Period.

It's hard to say, really. I mean, I'm fairly certain Activision has locked down Aerosmith and Metallica and I'm sure there are a few others that they've snatched up so, sadly, it is a possibility that they could somehow "buy" Muse. I really REALLY hope not. For all our sakes. I wouldn't put it past them to try though.

They didn't lock up Metallica; HMX or MTV people said GH:M doesn't change their plans regarding RB DLC.

They haven't even locked up one of the bands they're making a whole game for, why would they lock up Muse?

Rather than recommend a bunch of random songs, I thought I'd critique the original recommended list, and replace some with better fits.

Plug in Baby is a must. Especially considering that the guitar on that song was voted among the top guitar riffs ever. New Born, Stockholm Syndrome, and Knights of Cydonia are great too.

Invincible, while a great song, doesn't really lend itself to really fun gameplay. I can see the vocalist having a ton of fun, and the drums are decent (if not a tad repetitive), but the guitar and bass doesn't really get exciting until three minutes in. Instead I would vote for Exo-politics. I know it was in guitar hero, but it has excellent vocals, drums, and guitar parts.

Starlight isn't a bad song, but all of the parts are pretty simple and there are far better songs to replace it with. I'd vote for Thoughts of a Dying Athiest. Few people I know have even heard of that song, but I love it to death. Every part of it would work perfectly, and it also has a great guitar solo that I'd assume would be a blast to play.

As a side note, I think my favorite part of Muse is the vocals. While I love Hysteria, it clearly isn't a song for showcasing the vocalist. I've just started with vocals, but I can easily pass that song on expert. It just isn't very much fun or difficult to sing.

Runners up are Map of the Problematique and City of Delusion.

Well, I'm pulling for something like Time Is Running Out or Plug in Baby, since I'm getting the game and all.
But my money goes to Starlight, if I've gotta pick. I don't know, with Activision's history (like releasing Supermassive Black Hole? They really should've waited for that one), it seems like they might do it.

Most Muse songs aren't terribly hard. I only started playing 4 months ago and I can play quite a few. (solos get me though).
