Hi Kev! Welcome to the RB Boards! And welcome to the Muse thread! It's always good to have new faces.

I sincerely hope that Muse ends up in RB2. Since I heard the announcement of RB2 I've been growing more and more excited. It's going to be a long three months! I really really hope that Muse is well represented in RB2. It would make all the posting we've done here totally worth it! It would be a huge victory for us and would be a great example of how developers listen to the community. *crosses fingers*

I downloaded Hysteria and really, really enjoy playing it. First time through I failed expert bass at 96% because my hand was seriously falling off. I should have paused and taken a break, but that wouldn't have been very rock...ish. I like the six songs on the list already here, but a few more would be nice. Hell, an album would be nice too, although there are usually a few tracks, like Ruled By Secrecy, that wouldn't really fit in. Overall though, this band is great. Not only are they great to listen to, but EVERY instrument and vocals would be an absolute blast to play. Challenging and catchy always go well together. "Butterflies and Hurricanes" unfortunately might not work despite it's kickassedness, but there are very few songs that wouldn't be fun to play by this band. Since I'm here, I might as well relay a vote for Arctic Monkeys and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Hey, welcome to the forums and the cause! I would want butterflies and Hurricanes too. They could put in the piano solo just like they did for the collector so dont get your hopes up for that

i'd go so far to say that Muse is a shoe-in for RB2. i wouldn't even be surprised to see them among the first set of artist confirmations at E3.
Radiohead, Bloc Party, My Morning Jacket, Wilco, Arcade Fire, Interpol, MGMT, Secret Machines, !!!, Hot Chip, Dears, Whigs, Mew & 90's Alt

    Trigonometric ratios suck.
Almost as much as the fact that RB2 is exclusive to the 360 at first.
But they kept me offline for the announcement. Which makes them suck pretty hard.

Okay, let me catch up here.

The 360's getting RB2 before the PS3 and other platforms.
    That is not fair.
That is very very not fair.
And unless it has some seriously amazing songs on its setlist, I'll probably hold out on buying it until it comes out for at least the PS3.
And by seriously amazing, I mean it has to have either Plug in Baby, New Born, or Invincible (or any combination) and Paranoid Android and at least two other tracks that just complete my life.
Harmonix is really dropping the ball on this one. Why they do this, I'll never quite be sure. It can't be good for them, especially with such tough competition.

Anyway, I'm pulling for Plug in Baby, because it's most likely.

And welcome to the new person, to the forums and the cause. :]
    Gamertag: Patheticacy
    DLC songs: 67
DLC strongly supported: Muse, Radiohead, actual Blur
    Virtual Baked Goods: 14.5

I dunno, Invincible seems like it ought to be DLC. It's still my top pick for DLC, but it just doesn't scream "On-disc song" to me. Plug in Baby's full of excitement from start to finish (which is what hurts New Born as on-disc as well), and it's a fan favorite, so that's the one I'm betting on.
Not too much, though. Any Muse on the disc is fine with me.

Oh, man, if we could have twelve, we could throw in Citizen Erased, Time Is Running Out, Assassin, Map of the Problematique, and all the other ones that get thrown around in here all the time.

Not yet. I'll read it now. I hate how this board doesn't tell you when you get messages!

Words can't even describe how happy I would be.

    FINE, jeeeez.

Can I just say, I am SOOOO excited about The Who!!! SOOO EXCITED.

HMX seems to be goin a little crazy with the DLC lately lol! They're handing DLC out like TakeABow hands out cookies!

I'm not gonna hold my breath for a Muse 12-pack though. Especially if they're planning on making a big deal about them for RB2. It would kinda take away some of the thunder. However, that won't stop me from posting my own 12-pack ^_^

    Plug in Baby
    New Born
    Exo-Politics
    Supermassive Black Hole
    Time is Running Out
    Muscle Museum
    Stockholm Syndrome
    Knights of Cydonia
    Starlight
    Map of the Problematique
    Bliss
    Thoughts of a Dying Athiest

lol I never thought it'd be so difficult to pick only 12 songs from a single band.

I'm betting either Time is Running Out, Knights of Cydonia, Map of the Problematique, or Plug In Baby for Rock Band 2. Those seem like the most logical choices. But of course, Harmonix has taken lesser known songs from great bands before (Nirvana, Rolling Stones in GH2, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, etc.), so there's definitely a chance of us seeing something like Spiral Static, Micro Cuts, maybe even Citizen Erased, which would be amazing.

But in any event, here's my 12 pack:

    Stockholm Syndrome
    Plug In Baby
    Citizen Erased
    Muscle Museum
    Sunburn
    Assassin
    Map of the Problematique
    The Small Print
    New Born
    Bliss
    Showbiz
    Dead Star/In Your World

With Agitated, Yes Please, and Spiral Static barely missing out.

With the news of those Live at Leeds versions of The Who's songs, I would like to say:
