I guess I just must be really hard to please...

The chart was questionable. The main riff didn't sit well with me, and the chours is crap. After the Gx8 GRBx8 bridge, the chorus starts at RYx16 for the first measure. Then GYx8 and then RBx8, which is all fine. But the trouble is, it then doesn't reset to RY again for measure 5, instead it switches to RO for the same thing you just played on RY... It does return to normal for measure 9 of the chorus, but it's again charted incorrectly at measure 13 of the chorus.

As far as Matt goes, good mo-cap, bad modeling.

This game just went from a probable buy to a don't buy in one video.

I agree and I dont think we sound like Fanboys. Me personally the one thing I've given Activision is they've had pretty decent models But Matt looks a mess, and I do find the charting unimpressive. I'm sorry but I can't justify buying the game for one song, even if it is my favorite.

Well, in my case there are a number of songs/artists on the GH5 list that I like. However, for the majority of those songs, I'd rather not play them at all then pay $60 for a new platform with an (in my opinion) inferior game engine. The list of "game defining" songs is shrinking constantly with the new DLC announcements.

The only reasons I'd still buy GH5 are the free GH:VH (not that I especially like their songs, but I find them unoffensive to my tastes, and free is a good price) and the 4 guitar party mode.

Whatever. I'm gonna get it, mainly because it offers a lot of songs from artists I like, it's cleaned up (or has appeared to do so) since WT, multiple players on a part, and to top it off, Matt Bellamy is playable. I can export WT too, but I'm not that concerned with it. And it still remains that there are some "game defining" tracks where we've yet to see the artist in RB. Yes, I faaar prefer RB's game engine, but if GH is going to offer me tracks I enjoy, I'll use it to bridge the gap until we get them in RB.

I don't understand why any one person is actually considering buying Guitar Hero 5 considering what Harmonix is doing for us. Sure they are getting Plug in Baby, big deal. It's a great song that I can almost guarantee we will get sometime in the future.

Harmonix has delivered on our massive requests for all of our other favorite bands, (save for Led Zeppelin) so why would anyone waste money on a cheap, big name, "PLEASE BUY ME!" game?
