I see a 2 week opportunity for Harmonix to announce Muse. Next week, as well all know, is the release or Resistance, the single. The week after that begins the US tour. Those are some prime opportunities.

Oh well, looks like this week has nothing to offer that I'll enjoy.

Swap out Invincible for MK Ultra and you got the best download pack for Rock Band 2 ever!
Just be sure to make it available for Wii immediately and completely.
^In all honesty Invincible would be a much more difficult than MK Ultra and still be pretty rockin (the guitar parts on the studio version would easily be 5th or 6th tier, maybe even 7th pending on charting, the rolls on the drums at the start would make the song tricky to FC along with the main portion of it with all the small rolls/fills, the bass would be simply fun, and the vocals would be intense especially on the final chorus.)

I agree with some of what you said, but I think MK Ultra is a better balanced song for all instruments. Invincible takes about 2 minutes, 25 seconds to become interesting on guitar, the bass is way more active in MK Ultra, drumming sounds like it would be fun on both songs, I do think Invincible is the better vox song.
With all that said though, I think Invincible is the only Muse song that could possibly be 7th tier difficulty on guitar, and for that reason alone I think it deserves to be in the 6-pack. If we were gonna replace anything in the 6-pack with MK Ultra it should be Starlight. I don't hate the song, but it easily has the least going for it gameplay wise.
Yeah, the only thing Starlight has going for it is its catchiness and the fact the vocals would probably be tiered pretty high.
But I dunno, I think the guitar in Invincible would work out well in RB since its so simplistic at first that it would lull some people into a false sense of security since once the arpeggios come in (if they chart it right then they'll chart them all strums) it'll just get tougher and tougher until after the solo.
Believe me though the drums will be pretty tricky, after the rolls in the intro it'll be pretty much all yellows or blues and bass drum with fills/rolls popping out here and there until the break down before the solo, the parts after the solo will probably be interesting as well. The bass yeah won't be as good as MK Ultra's but it'll have its moment in the breakdown before the solo.
Am I the only one who thinks that songs like "Hoodoo", "Butterflies & Hurricanes", "New Born", "Apocalypse Please" and "Sing For Absolution" would be fun?
