Uprising would be a mediocre song choice for Muse imo. I mean at this point I'll take any Muse they give us, but compared to many other Muse song choices out there Uprising just wouldn't be that fun.
My DLC Wish List:
A LOT Moar Muse
Moar Radiohead
Moar Dinosaur Jr.
Moar J-Rock
Moar Manic Street Preachers
I agree... Uprising, while it may be one of the best-known Muse songs stateside, is definitely not the best chose for gameplay (nor listening, but that's a whole different animal). It's fairly repetitive, the guitar doesn't come in until the second verse and doesn't play anything particularly challenging, the baseline is mediocre for a Muse song, the synth is very basic, and the drums wouldn't really be anything special. On the other hand, it'd have great harmonies.
Anyways in regards to The Resistance I believe the best song choice from that album would probably be MK ULTRA. It would be appropriately difficult and fun and would have good support for both keyboard/synth and harmonies. After that it would be Resistnace, despite the guitar not being too difficult the rest would be a blast and there is good support for keyboard and harmonies. 3rd would go to Unnatural Selection, its a great song but keyboard use and harmonies are a bit sparse. United States Of Eurasia would get honorable mention though if USOE had more guitar in it I feel it would've been the perfect choice from The Resistance since it has plenty of keyboard, the best harmonies, and the other instruments would be plenty of fun.

Yeah, it's pretty cool that they made it in the game, but i would have prefered Wannabe in L.A. as debut DLC.
