The other thing is, in The States, the first Muse song to get any real radio time at all was Time Is Running Out, and while Absolution and BHaR are in stores everywhere, you will be hard pressed to find OoS or Showbiz - at least from my experience.
Starlight is very widely known, and so is Knights of Cydonia (Moreso with GH3 having it).
In an ideal world, some of Muse's songs would be distinctively better than others and would make choosing packs easy. But it is too hard to decide which songs are the best songs, so we try to combine favorites into a list.
The PR transmissions will resume.
The tab for the solo: This is for the studio version. It would be hard to play, but I think the end of GGaHT goes on for too long for this to be really compared.

Well... the start of the song is extremely boring... I really don't see it in RB... someone was talking about the new born intro (think it was coldplayer), the first 2 minutes and half is teh same drum beat, almost unheard guitar... it's pretty boring!!!! very slow tempo... makes me want to sleep!!! after the 2.30 minute mark it changes a bit... but really only kicks in at 3.25... this is a complete waste of time!!! 3.25 minutes thrown away really!!
As I did this exercise to explain to you what I have against Invincible... it made me really dislike this song!!!!

Invincible's not impossible, but still probably really hard on plastic instruments.
This may only be the case for me because I was a guitar player before I was a Guitar Hero player but what makes a solo difficult to me is the non-sensical way it goes about note progression. The Solos in songs like GG&HT or [ugh] Freebird are difficult for me because they don't really make much sense. They'll be alright for a bit and then they'll go in to that ridiculous 2-note repeat hammer-on crap for 20 minutes. However, the solos in songs like You Got Another Thing Comin' and Sharp Dressed Man come pretty easily to me because I can predict what the next notes are going to be.
The solo in Invincible is going to be hard, no doubt about that, but the note progression is pretty traditional. With HMX's musical background, they'll be able to come up with a chart that'll be pretty good and feel pretty natural.
Also, on the subject of Invincible's merits, I'll be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of that song but I would really like to see it in RB because it's so different. I've said this all along but I'll say it again. What should (and does, for now) set Rock Band apart from other rhythm games is variety. I really like the fact that RB has a pretty wide selection of music from all different [rock] genres so I would rather see more music that widens that selection than more music that narrows it. Hell yea, put in songs like New Born and Plug In Baby, but also put in slower quieter songs like Invincible. And besides, RB is about the music, not how many notes are in it. We need music with soul and Invincible has got soul!
