So what if they did 18 songs, like they're doing with The Grateful Dead, with three six-packs?

    Absolution & Origin of Symmetry:
    Stockholm Syndrome
    Time Is Running Out
    Thoughts of a Dying Atheist
    New Born
    Plug In Baby
    Micro Cuts

    Black Holes & Revelations:
    Starlight
    Supermassive Black Hole
    Map of the Problematique
    Invincible
    Knights of Cydonia
    Assassin

    Showbiz:
    Sunburn
    Muscle Museum
    Showbiz
    Overdue
    Uno
Hate This And I'll Love You

Zomg Three Six-Packs?! Ok this should be fun =D I'll go with TheKrazyKatzzzs' format:

    Absolution/Origin of Symmetry
    Stockholm Syndrome
    The Small Print
    Time is Running Out
    New Born
    Hyper Music
Micro Cuts (I would love to sing in falsetto for this entire song)

    Showbiz
    Muscle Museum
    Cave
    Showbiz
    Sober
    Sunburn
    Overdue

    Black Holes and Revelations
    Starlight
    Invincible
    Map of the Problematique
    Supermassive Black Hole
    City of Delusion
    Assassin

Only if you could incorporate piano, I wouldn't mind seeing a little Hoodoo

Mmm. I'm late to respond to the cookie conversation (Then again, if I had more cookies, I'd feel guilty not feeding a virtual third-world country), but I got two cookies from one post once, on the subject of multiple cookies in close proximity.
And since it's something fun and something I like to do, my favorite songs are Hysteria and Invincible.
Hysteria because it has a brilliant catch to it, something that makes me think by the end of the song, "I have to listen to that again." Which is why its play count is highest on my iTunes (Invincible is catching up, though, but since I started loving it later, its count isn't as astronomical).
And Invincible because it's so powerful. It starts out quiet and spacey, and then builds up more and more until it reaches the end, by which time you think "WOW, did this start off quiet, how can that be?" And the sound to it is... well, like I said before, powerful. It has that certain epic-ness that can't be beaten or quite explained.
Also, the solo is expletiving awesome.

I'm also late for this, but the performance of Falling Away With You was listed at the Leeds Festival in 2002, if that sheds any light on the subject.

Showbiz is great. I really don't like to say it's my least favorite of their albums because that's just not fair, as Muse dominates my top 5 albums overall with one exception (Radiohead's OK Computer at 4). It's still awesome, but I just think Origin, Absolution, and Black Holes are just a smidge better.

Three six-packs? I'm going to have to take a slightly different approach:

    Showbiz/Origin of Symmetry:
    Muscle Museum
    Cave
    Sober
    New Born
    Plug in Baby
    Citizen Erased

    Absolution/Black Holes:
    Time is Running Out
    Stockholm Syndrome
    Hysteria
    The Small Print
    Exo-Politics
    City of Delusion

    Black Holes and Revelations:
    Starlight
    Supermassive Black Hole
    Map of the Problematique
    Invincible
    Assassin
    Knights of Cydonia

There. >< Okay, I'm obviously a proponent of Black Holes and Revelations full-album DLC. The only thing that gets in the way of that is the fact that their other albums also have excellent Rock Band material.
But if we could have it all, I'd be thrilled.
Then again, if we could have it all, there wouldn't be much point in planning out packs would there? Refer to the 64-pack posted forever ago.

btw, to those doubting giving Sunburn love, here's a live version with NO PIANO, ONLY GUITAR:

    <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CCZCvqZTbFA&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CCZCvqZTbFA&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

I disagree with the editing in that video (whee, let's zoom in for no reason) but I think the guitar there is pretty f'n amazing

Awesome guitar work there, I have heard that version before, but not seen it on video. Thanks for that.
It's a test to provoke an emotional response.

Am I "him"? I do make both sig banners and wallpapers. The links to both are through that "Stuff and the Thing" link in my sig.

I still can't believe that I've gotten into a band so quickly. Usually it takes a month to a week for me to adapt to a certain band's sound. I've jumped right into Muse and plan on getting Showbiz tomorrow. What style is it in? If it's anything like Origin, I'm sure I'll like it.
It is similar to OoS, although not as over the top, in my opinion. Less effects, and on average less complexity to the music. Not to say that Showbiz is bad by any means; Showbiz is a fantastic album.

    I definitely want Muse.
Yeah, this thread is a monster. Its hard for me to keep track of it sometimes, and I've been posting in it since it needed bumps to stay in the first five pages of Ulitmate Setlist. There are some pretty cool links buried in this thread if you ever have the time to go through it.

It, Apocalypse Please, and most notably Butterflies and Hurricanes are missing because the master tracks for them are piano heavy.

If Sunburn (w/guitar) was the first Live track in RockBand, I don't think anyone would complain.

(Well, of course people would complain, but no one that matters would complain).

Everyone that hasn't put down Muse in this thread: Go post Muse + two of your other favorites. Currently Muse is 6th among bands requested, but only has 36 votes. I know we can bump that number up considerably if we try.
