I'm gonna have to say it's a toss-up between Intro/Apocalypse Please and Invincible. The drums in Apocalypse Please honestly do sound apocalyptic, all that booming bass drum and those sweet fills. It's so huge, it's amazing.

But then there's Invincible, which has that great marching snare in the beginning, and then it kicks you in the face, which is also amazing.

Those two are definitely tied for number one. I couldn't choose.

I do love the drums in the Groove though...they're a lot of fun.

Bottom line is that Dom is just an amazing drummer.

Apocalypse please is such a violent, dissonent song, which somehow manages to capture that "end of the world" feeling while still sounding amazing.

Invincible - I like how you put that. A good kick in the face is what we all need. Just like the easy guitar until suddenly Matt is shredding faster than Dragonforce.

    Dom's Amazing!

Dom is a fantastic drummer. He places second (behind Ronnie Vannucci Jr of the Killers - who I
watched twirl his right stick while one handing intro to Mr. Brightside). I have to say that I really love the drums to Butterflies and Hurricanes, Knights of Cydonia, and Invincible (who expected that? XD)

What about Matt Tong of Bloc Party and Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen of Mew? Both awesome drummers.

Oooooh, cookie! You're right, they are delicious!

I think Apocalypse Please could very well be my all-time favorite Muse song...I've never heard a piano been played like that before. The only thing I don't like about it is that it wouldn't work for Rock Band.

I'll make up for that by learning how to play it on the piano though...one day I will do it!

Matt Tong is third on my list. I don't listen to Mew enough though, *goes to do that*

Thanks for the cookie Ronnie is really good, I haven't listened to a lot of Killers songs but he certainly has skill.

Trying to play Bloc Party drum parts is quite difficult, a testament to his talents.

I still have one cookie left.

    Mmm, Muse drum parts.
My favorite's either Stockholm Syndrome or Supermassive Black Hole. Supermassive Black Hole, for one, just fits the song so well and I love the sound of it, I can't really explain why.
But Stockholm Syndrome, I've always marveled at, especially the part that goes with the main riff. It could have been a bass drum every beat, and that, in my opinion, would have made the song boring and dull. But the syncopation in the drum part is part of what makes it so amazing.
Then there's that part of Time Is Running Out (the second prechorus) that sounds so cool.

Good choices on the drum parts. I really like the second prechorus of TIRO.
