But the great thing is, Muse are one of those rare bands where you can randomly pick any song and it would probably work well.
    So very, wonderfully true.

We had pretty similar picks then.

However, I can think of quite a few albums I'd rather have then Absolution. Revelations, any Led Zeppelin record, a couple Foo Fighters albums, a few Rush albums, Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness, The Number of the Beast, Opiate, Songs for the Deaf, Bang Camaro, and Nevermind come to mind, but if we get Absolution, I wouldn't be complaining.

Well I guess I would, but still.

But out of the long list of all albums ever made, it still rates in the very top 1%

Obviously. Also, I wanted to bring something else up.

Maybe some full albums would be better than Absolution. However, I think any album would have trouble matching up a pack to top an Absolution three pack. Hell, I think any three pack from any Muse album would top almost every other three pack from any other album.

If you're talking about sales, I think that would depend on whether it was a world-wide DLC release or just in the States. If you include Europe in that estimation, then I think you'd be right on, Muse would absolutely kill. If you're talking about just in the U.S. then I'm not so sure. apparently there are a lot of people here that still haven't heard of Muse or hate them for some reason. Either way, I think the only DLC that would be bigger than Muse would be Led Zepplin or The Beatles.*

I'm not talking sales, I'm talking awesomeness based on my hopes and expectations.

Which somewhat ironically, are not Black Holes and Revelations.

Edit: I hate having class at 6:30 PM on wednesdays! There will be 10+ new pages by the time I get back.

Indeed, but it's not like I would be upset to get that album. I mean, its probably the most likely.

Ok, let me make a bold prediction here: at least one Muse song by the end of June.

    Catch-up time woo.

I facepalmed and just said, "Not. Matt. Bellamy."
Oddly enough, that's the exact thing I say to the guys in my vocal classes when they try to sing girls' parts. They can't sing that high; they're not Matt Bellamy, after all. They shouldn't try to be.

My top album would be Black Holes and Revelations. It's my second favorite of the albums (on most days, that is. They're all so good; they switch around a lot. It may slip behind Origin of Symmetry on one day, and other times it surpasses Absolution. They all move around.), but it would definitely be the most feasible in Rock Band. (I think someone before said that Soldier's Poem would get in the way; I disagree. It has all the parts needed, so it could work.)

From all the albums, if we're speaking Rock Band packs:

    Showbiz:
    Muscle Museum
    Sober
    Showbiz

    Origin of Symmetry:
    New Born
    Plug in Baby
    Citizen Erased

    Absolution:
    Time is Running Out
    Stockholm Syndrome
    The Small Print

    Black Holes and Revelations:
    Invincible
    Knights of Cydonia
    Supermassive Black Hole

    B-sides and Other Stuff:
    Futurism
    In Your World
    Glorious

If we're talking overall favorites, they may be different.

I certainly hope we get something before June. Something?
