It's the insane bass that gets me. I FC'ed the vocals first try, full voice. (Which has actually never happened with any other song. Sightreading RB vocals is a *****.) But I can hardly three-star the bass without singing. Oof.

haha, thats good stuff! vox and guitar together is not easy and definitely takes practice to be good. i LOVE it tho, its the most fun i have playing the game now.

btw, i still dont think we've played together since we added each other as friends. probably becuase of my laziness, but lets get on that ASAP!

I can ace either Radiohead song and Wonderwall on voxtar but that is the extent of my voxtaring ability. Mostly due to my limited vocal range. I like to think of myself as a pretty good singer but I certainly wouldn't win any awards. I've actually got a silly myspace/music page thrown together with one (yes, only one) song that I've done on it but I'm not sure I should pimp myself in such a large forum. lol

We DO need to play together! Bonez too! However, I still don't have internet at my new place so I can't get on Live yet. I'll let you know when I'm back in action though!

oh, i completely suck at singing in both RB and real life. i can do really well and have fun on Med vox/X guitar, but i've been dabbling with Hard vox for my "solo band" on BWT. i usually end up struggling thru every song on Hard, and fail on some of the harder ones, but its a fun challenge.

i just added Bubblegum the other day and now i'll have to add Bonez to my friends list as well. send me an invite whenever u get back online!

Sadly, my Xbox live subscription just ran out today. So I'll have to pick up a card next time I'm out. I just gold-starred Hysteria on expert guitar today, I'm very proud of myself. I don't think I'll be able to gold-voxtar it, especially since Expert singing and myself don't mix very well.

I apparently have Yorke's vocal range, since I got gold stars on Creep and My Iron Lung vocals, but usually I can barely struggle through hard vocals, and only some songs.

Woop. We just fixed it up so that I can be connected to XBL almost all the time. Now I just need to get my Gold subscription going and I'll be set to play online.

TakeABow, are the talkie parts on My Iron Lung less... broken on the PS3 than they are on the 360? 'Cause that second one's impossible on the 360 unless you get the talkie glitch.

Where are the high notes in KoC? Maybe I have a different definition of "high notes..."

Let me try and point it out:
Song comes in with harmonies going "aah aah aah" a couple of times.
Guitar slide and the galloping beat begins.
Heavily processed guitar plays melody to the next part in its first play.
Then the part repeats but with a bigger arrangement, and this time Matt is actually singing the melody; THIS is where the notes get really high!
After that comes the first verse "Come ride with me..."

Listen again and if you still can't find it, I'll go and fetch the timestamp for ya but it definitely gets quite high in that part!

If you watch the HAARP video, then the high notes are way more noticible. Just a suggestion.

Ahhh, yeah.
I forget about the guitar-accompanying sounds sometimes. x_x;
